Nobel Super Soda/lemon/cola Candy, 3.1-ounce Bags (Pack of 2) [Japan Import] - Sour and Fizzy Tastes (Shoga (Ginger))

Reason for 3 stars is average product. Not an easy review to write. Nothing wrong with candy, it just didn’t do anything for me Not what I was expecting. Not real sure what I was expecting but whatever it was this wasn’t it.UPDATE 3 DAYS LATER: I’ll admit it, I jumped to conclusions at first. After given some time these suckers are great. I’m glad I am able to edit this review. I’ve eaten them all and getting ready to order more. They are exactly as stated. If you have any mouth irritation and the outer shell touches it you’ll remember about it. Not a bad thing, a good thing. Just like you’d expect if you were sucking on a lemon slice. Love them and ordering more. HP the wrapper used on the individually wrapped sour balls is the strongest I’ve ever encountered, again not a bad thing, a secure thing.

So I just bought a bag at my local Japanese market Mitsuwa. I literally ate the whole bag as I was satisfying myself with the sourness. Let me tell you now, I know a difference in the sourness of the candies I bought online. These were not even sour at all. The white part that is the main source of the sourness, only lasted like 1-2 seconds. The ones I bought at Mitsuwa lasted for a good 10-15 seconds, causing me to kinda sweat, which I freaking love! It is like satisfying a taste bud, but these candies did not come through at all. These must be some fake ones or something lol

I received this candy a couple days ago and Id bought a different kind from this one and I wasn't that happy so because their packages are so similar I thought it was by same owner . Thankfully when it came all the way from japan I was excited but when my husband & I tried it, wow. It was so good.sour and it stayed sour almost the whole way through. In the middle it went sweet for about a few seconds but returned to sourness so Im assuming it has something in the middle. Now its not soda tasting at all but its good. Id buy these again

This is the Super Lemon I remember from decades ago. Super sour initially and sweet the rest of the way. It's a great candy if you like lemon flavored stuff. The initial powerful sour taste is hard to handle for some, but if you can get through the few seconds of it, you'll love the rest of the candy.

I love everything cola flavored except these! These are VERY sour and really don’t taste of cola if you can get past the beginning sour pucker/gag!I order a lot of international foods/sweets ESPECIALLY cola flavored and these are a huge let down. 2 bags + money wasted = trash

I used to get these as a kid at a nearby store. I’m so happy to have found them again and they’re exactly as I remember. They start off extremely sour! But they finish off almost like a lemon drop but the tastiest lemon drop I’ve ever had. If you like sour candy these are definitely super sour! It’s fun to watch the facial expressions when people try them. All around great product and if you enjoy hard sour or lemon candy then you can’t lose with these.

These are the BEST hard candy in the world! You’ll taste super sour ascorbic acid powder first which immediately wakes you up, sweet nice cola taste next, and the sour soda powder at the end. I keep these handy and give it to my students that come to their lessons tired and sleepy. They and their parents love them!

I literally spit this out as soon as I put it in my mouth. My husband said the sourness wouldn’t be so bad if the taste wasn’t disgusting. So sour, not good taste. One of my kids could tolerate them, but no one is asking for them a gain.
