Holds curtains percectly.

In the depths of a bleak midwinter, I bought four of these to perky up otherwise innocuous corners of a stairwell. And guess what? It worked! Fancy and fun, with a hint of decadent glamour, they're more plush than I'd hoped for and THE PRICE (oooh-la-la) is NOT a deal-breaker--They were very affordable. Get glam, get some gilt, and cheer up--Springtime is coming. x

These are huge but in a good way. If you are trying for your towels to be a focal point. These are it. Also such good quality. I've gotten so many compliments.

If your attitude about giant tassels is “who cares, nobody is going to look that closely anyways”, then these are the tassels for you!These are not great. If you order them and get a decent pair, tie them and leave them there. These are not a quality that will handle shifting and re-tying.It took the original order AND a replacement pair to get two marginally decent tassels. Across the four, each seemed to have one or two issues: snags, poor gluing, poor construction, thin coverage, and poor cutting.I was able to trim/hot glue repair two well enough for my needs, but also know that if the decorative knot comes untied (aka, kids get a hold of it, or you get mixed up opening the package), there is no way to re-tie it. The gold rope is actually a very thin wrapping of gold thread over black rope, so trying to fix the knot will shift the thread and cause the black to show through. I messaged the sellers to walk me through re-tying it and they suggested replacement.From afar, they look nice. I don’t anticipate having to tie them frequently.

I was unsure of the quality of these tie backs when I ordered them, but I figured they were worth a shot based on the price and the pictures. They ended up being gorgeous, luxurious, high quality and quite large (which is good). They will look great with my velvet curtains.
