Item purchased on the premise that the spring loaded tip would not only pierce a wire being tested but to also stay affixed until released giving a hands free indication. The spring in the sealed barrel was so weak that the handle had to be pushed manually to even pierce the wire. Once pierced it let go without constant pressure on the barrel. Contacted the seller and was told they would send a manual on how to use it. Can't imagine a manual would fix the defective spring. Sent back for a refund.

One of the better testers for the price.
I've had a few of these. One brand did not work out of the box. This one did work and has a very sharp tester. Good value.

Cheap made material. Not as helpful as it could be. A lot of complains.
