U.S. ToyLG156 Mini Police Beacon, Red

This is not the ‘highest quality’ and not the most ‘gorgeous’ nor are the details the ‘finest’. It works and will be good for an Inspector Gadget costume. The price was ok but I wouldn’t have paid more.Sticker around the base is super time consuming to get off.

I turned this into part of a costume for a human-sized robot as part of a local theatre play. With lots of hacking and modding, it served well for the three-week run and shockingly never broke. It's easily to disassemble, although I had to cut out a lot of the plastic around the axle to let it run smoothly.The transmission and motor are easily accessible and there's probably a lot someone could do with/to this.

I ordered 3 of these beacons from this company and only received one in the box. The beacon didn't even work properly, it was not spinning as it should. Since I am not totally useless I was able to fix it myself. After contacting the company they realized their mistake and offered me a refund or a 2nd shipment. I agreed to the 2nd shipment under the guarantee that it would reach before a certain date. They told me it was set to arrive before my deadline (Halloween). The date came a went and it arrive the day after they said it would. Completely useless. Contacted them again to complain and they said they would need to take up the issue with USPS and then get back to me. It is 2 months later and I haven't been contacted by the company, not even once. Avoid this company at all costs. They obviously don't care how they treat their customers.

The motor is really loud and pretty slow. The sticker around the base was a nightmare to take off. But these are the cheapest lights, so you get what you pay for. I bought 3 and one of them is louder than the other 2, like the motor and gears are misaligned. When you hold it horizontally the noise goes back to normal, but when it is held vertically there must be a misalignment. The size is perfect for what i was looking for though.

The gears that make the lights turn are very loud. The lenses are not clear as the picture suggests, they are more opaque. They are a bit cheaply made, but for the price it is what you would expect.

Kind of loud, not very bright. But promises fun!

We ordered 3 of these to make a fire hat that was in Despicable Me 2. Kids LOVED it. It turned out a little heavy, but they did not mind. My husband is so clever and he really enjoyed building this for the kids. I have read the other reviews, and we did not have any problems with all three of these items. Yes they are on the cheap side but for making this hat I felt that it was a good value. I wish I could attach a photo of how well his turned out. We also bought a child hardhat from Amazon and put the three lights on the sides and top with a screw. It turned out so cute!

Nothing deceitful in the description. Had I physically handed the box, and taken a moment to study it, I would have passed and looked for something else.

Cheap....not worth price
