Marigold Swiss Vegetable Bouillon, 5.3-Ounce(150-Grams) Units (Pack of 6)

I have been using this brand of bouillon for many years (at least 15) but I cannot find it in local stores. It is like stock in powder form and has good flavor but without MSG and other nasty ingredients to be found in similar items in grocery stores. It can be used in cooking or even drunk as a bouillon (mixed with hot water). I primarily use it in cooking and it add flavor but no color (which is preferable).Once open, I keep it in the fridge. It does clump a bit but it breaks up easily enough.

Full flavor in a powder

The boullion has a great flavor, albeit salty. It is saltier than other vegetable boullions that I have used (Repunzel is my favorite).I was very disappointed that the sell-by date on my six-pack is April 2012 (purchased January 2012). I suspect that this product has been sittting on the shelf for many months unless it has an end-date that is only a few months from the manufacture date.While I understand that I will still be able to use the boullion after April, as reviewers of other products have noted sometimes Amazon's food items are not fresh. Sigh - one of the perils of purchasing perishible items on-line.I subtracted one star for excessive saltiness and one for the closeness to the sell-by date.

Hey, this stuff is great! Just a teaspoon in a cup of hot water is marvelous. This is not your Mom's much-too-salty old foil wrapped bouillon cube. Every kitchen needs some Marigold Bouillon Powder. I chose the reduced-salt product and I was a bit skeptical that I would be able to use 6 containers, but that's how they were packaged. Now that I've tried it, there's no question I'll use them all and be reordering very soon.

I have been buying this products for almost 10 years now, buying it from a business in London - so you can imagine the shipping (yikes!). I had to re-order recently and found that the shipping would be more than the price of the product ... and fortunately checked good ole Amazon.com before giving up and spending a horrendous bundle. I give this as stocking stuffers and at social club gift exchanges at the holidays to rave reviews. I use Marigold instead of salt in so very many dishes and add it to soups and sauces that need a "bottom note" without adding salt. Take a thermos of this to work and have yourself a very lo-cal mid-morning belly-filler without ruining your lunch. I cannot, cannot say enough about this product - the red can (organic/vegan) version is just fabulous. Thank you, Amazon, for offering this product!

This product is sensational and I use it in everything; sprinkle it on my salad; cook with it' I season my salmon and all my meat with it. It is an every day product.I just love this product. Yes, I will recommend it to my family and friends.JB

One of the very few bouillons that is yeast free. Sad it's so expensive but for someone like me, yeast free is worth it. I could make my own but I have other things to do and this is very convenient and tastes great.

Product is tasty, easy to use, gluten free, vegetarian. Excellent service from provider. Wish it were available in the US.
