I had no idea this was supposed to be for a top-loading washer only. Not sure it would have made a difference, as the top foam flower is so far removed from the mesh that it could let any amount of hair/lint go right through and around. Really, this would work better as a tub toy for kids!

I had to return. They did nothing for me. may my washer doesn't fill up enough as it's HE?? Not sure. Returning was super easy.
