Haha I can’t help but laugh at the bad reviews from distinctly non korean names :)Nothing can be what you expect when you lack life and cultural experience people. These are korean “banchan” (pan-Chan) bowls. Aka side dish bowls, and in Korea there are always several small portion sides served. The only hot thing you put in this is rice. They fit about half a cup of contents and last forever.They aren’t double walled or insulated, because most of what it’s used for is cold fermented vegetables. Is your American mind blown??? Haha I love them, my wife is korean and we have used these every week for over 8 years or so. They stack great and are not meant for your Starbucks coffee, so if you have never had korean food or been to a korean home/restaurant it’s really your own fault for not understanding h what this is. Some of these reviews are hilarious, I would love to read how they feel about chopsticks. Haha. Nope not a fork, kinda different and yeah not what impulse buyers might be familiar with. Haha. This is not a large mixing bowl, and it’s not your thermos. It’s a simple design that works allll over Korea :) at the very least. It’s a great buy, and can also be used as mise en place bowls- so you can dice garlic onion herbs etc and you can portion and store small bowls of prepped product.

The media could not be loaded. I needed a small plate with lid for my kittens food. These were really hard to find!! Criteria:-Plate to avoid whisker fatigue.-stainless to avoid bacteria buildup-lid to keep leftovers fresh and protect other items in the fridge from her meat.-stackable to prep the next day’s frozen food to thaw overnight, make sure I remember all the supplements, and so everyone could see what meals had been fed by quickly looking in the fridge. 2 bowls left? She hasn’t been fed lunch.I bought another set of Korean bowls and despite their beautiful rubbing and gold color, I could not separate the lid from the bowl. It was impossible!! I tried heat, tools, you name it. Those were way too tight. These fit just right. Not like Tupperware, more like the lid placed on your pan.They are beautiful. We joke it’s like room service. She’s so fancy!Easy clean in the dishwasher or with a scrub brush or soft sponge. Don’t use a scour sponge. I scratched mine with that.Love them so much I got another set so I could wash one day’s in the dishwasher and still prep the next day in the fridge.Affordable! Thank you! I was trying not to break the bank with this. Love these bowls.

Missing 1 lid but no big deal.

These are great until you put rice in them. Then they are too hot to touch. Ouch!

Perfect size for rice, keep rice hot for a good while. I like it so much I bought another sets.
