Highly recommend!
So when I decided to use more ghee instead of full fat butter, I was surprised that ghee wasn't readily available at my local mega mart. Oh they have plenty of organic and gourmet butter - I like those too - but I was really looking to go the lazy route and purchase ghee packaged. I mean, ghee is simple enough to make, but sometimes I just want to twist and spoon. This ghee is excellent. It has a decent smoke point. I use it to saute over med-high heat and it holds its integrity. I like to use it for popcorn as well for a tad bit more healthy alternative than the full fat stuff. It stores well. I keep the spare jars in the cabinet and the currently-in-use jar sets right on the counter next to the stove.Highly recommend!

Disappointed
I bought 4 bottles of ghee and two of them were broken. A total disaster. Very disappointed.

Absolutelyrecommended! We are a long time user of this product
This is 101% recommended. My husband cannot use just any type of oil or butter due to he has salicylate sensitivity, canola oil and thanked googdness we have found this type of butter. Ghee is what we have been using for almost cooking we do aside from when we do deep frying. its very light type of butter and not to mention its healthier compared to any other butter brands.

The best ghee you pay a lot for
This is the best of the several ghees I have tried over the years, hands down. Great taste, great texture. However, as it became more popular (perhaps because of paleo thing) it has gotten pricey and limited availability. This was available and also seemed to be the best price per ounce. My only other gripe with the product besides price/availability is the packaging. While it is admirable that it comes in a glass container without a BPA liner and has a plastic overwrap, in shipping it is not quite adequate to prevent leaking. Two of mine arrived leaking, one barely and the other more severely. The lids just weren't screwed down all the way tight or had come looser on shipping. The plastic overwrap cannot contain the liquid ghee becomes when subjected to the merciless heat we have been experiencing these weeks so I had some slippery heavy glass jars to deal with. Cleaned them up, ghee is fine. From the looks of it they may have spent some time upside down too, which again, in this heat, ghee is a liquid so you are going to have spillage in this kind of container. If they would find a way to make an inner seal without BPA that would be great. Or maybe they can tape down the lid to not loosen up. They also need to ramp up production/distribution. This is not kobe beef but is getting as expensive.

For the Paleo Convert
I've tried different types of Ghee and keep going back to Purity Farms. Perfect for cooking, baking, roasting, soups, and sauces. DO NOT put on toast or paleo bread or baked sweet potatoes. Horrible. I love it for actual cooking use, not top dressing my food. It adds a creamy taste to my food. I suffer from casin intolerance, and this is perfect, no upset stomach or itchiness since the ghee process removes the enzymes/proteins for lactose and casin. I use coconut oil to top dress my other foods. I leave this item shelf stable even when open with no problems. Many people put it in fridge, and it comes out just fine. Do what works for you.

YUCK
Although this was my first time trying ghee, this brand is not the one anyone should try. It had a bad overwhelming odor and taste. Do not recommend.
