I use this with my ID card, and a couple of keys and a couple of electronic fobs. No overstretching of the wire whatsoever. A must buy for anyone looking for a good ID card holder and don't want to spend an exorbitant amount. Has held well for 3 months now with no issues.

Been using this for a few weeks now and there are no signs of wear or possible failure. The ones I had before all broke within 2 weeks and showed signs of fraying on the cable, but not this one.Great value.

I was fairly happy with this until today, 7 months after purchase when the cord suddenly snapped. Not as robust as I had hoped. Will look for another make next time. I would have expected this to last longer than it has.

Its well made, strong and retraction is very good - it's only let down is the cord length 24" / 61cm.This affixes to your belt + your arm length so it needs to be 32 inches / 81cmShame, because its very good.

Very long delivery time, I did not use it for very long but very impressed by the quality. Comes with card holder and badge pouch, all feel durable. So worth the wait.

This key holder is perfect in all regards! It looks great, holds onto the belt extremely well, can hold really big/heavy keychains, while allowing for easy pull of the string (which is surprisingly smooth and durable as well). I purchased many retractable key holders like this, and this is by far my favorite. I highly recommend.

Awesome ID badge holder, my wife and I use them every day at work and they do a great job protecting our Access Cards and double as a transit pass holder.The stainless reel is a little heavy but does the job.

This product is strong and sturdy which obviously shouldn't be a negative however the round silver part that has the clip is quite heavy. I think this product is better suited for a security guard or someone that needs to hang a lot off of it. As a nurse with a light plastic I.D it pulls down the pocket of your scrubs

I work in a warehouse. I got sick of trying to hang myself with a lanyard-badge-holder, so I tried a retractable.My first attempt was a plastic one, meant for office-use. Yeah... that didn't hold up.THIS one arrived today.First off? It's bigger than I expected. About the size of a fifty-cent piece, instead of a quarter.Also? It's heavy. This thing is solid metal, and a lot of it.That said, there's no way this is going to be damaged, crushed, or broken in the line of normal work, even when "normal work" involves hauling heavy boxes around all day. The clip is WIDE (not an aligator-clip) and bolted directly to the body. It feels secure, not like you're going to have to worry about it falling off/getting bent.The one caveate is that I wouldn't want to attach this to extremely lightweight or delicate clothing... but if you're wearing lightweight, delicate clothing, you're probably looking at one of the more decorative plastic badge-holders like I started with (the kind meant for the office).If you want a badge-holder that will work as hard as you do? This is it.

The first one I got lasted 2 weeks, the second one lasted 5 months. I wish it would just last. the first one had these rough spikes that caught on the cord and also some spring part unfurled and it no longer functioned well. The second one just broke off today. I am not rough with it. We will see how long number 3 lasts.
