Photo Finish (Airbrush Makeup set-Makeup only-Luminous finish) Fair to Medium Shades

I have never used an airbrush system before purchasing this one, so I don't really have anything to compare it with. I don't leave reviews very often and am skeptical when one is left when they simply have not had the product very long to see how it works over a longer period of time. I purchased this unit in December and have been using it for 3 months.I turned 50 this year and have been using a powder foundation, but needed to start using something else just to cover up some of the imperfections in my skin that come with aging. I hate using a liquid foundation as they feel so heavy and thick and seem to really settle in the creases.I have been very pleased with this unit. It is easy to use and clean. I do use the Photofinish primer before I apply the makeup.The foundation is not heavy, covers well, and is inexpensive compared with other brands. The key is to really find the combination of colors to match your skin tone. I did try another brand of foundation that was more expensive and didn't like it nearly as well. It was thicker and felt heavier on my skin and I seemed to use about twice as much (probably because it was thicker).I clean the unit after every use with Createx air brush cleaner. It seems to work really well and I've had no problems with the unit. It only adds a couple of extra minutes to clean it. Createx is cheaper than the PhotoFinish brand. I anticipate that the 4 ounce bottle will last me 4 - 5 months.

I purchased based on high star reviews. I've been using airbrush makeup for years and decided to try this brand. Probably the worst I've used. Do not waste your $. Even with using primer, this is super drying and makes your face feel tight. It also peels away really easily, especially around eye area and nose (anywhere you have creases), as if cracking. It makes fine lines look worse, since it's so drying. I tried it three times and before I was out the door had to wash my face and start over with my old, reliable brand. Maybe is you have flawless, oily skin this might work - but for everyone else - I'd use another product.

I really want to like this but it’s too confusing for me. I’ve never been great at makeup so now that I’m aging, hoped this would be a solution. It’s too hard to figure out for someone without the knack. So I contacted the seller to return and never got a reply. I tried again, still nothing and you only get 30 days. Things happened and without the time to do more follow-ups, I missed the return deadline. I shouldn’t have to spend so much time and energy to get a seller to reply. It sucks. now I’m stuck with an expensive machine I can’t use.

I am a professional makeup artist who works with special effects makeup and heavy duty waterproof airbrush makeup in a theatrical setting but wanted to try this out for my beauty makeup on-the-road. I've been really impressed with this tiny but effective little compressor and the quality of the makeup. Hands down the best value for the money in this category of pro-sumer airbrush makeup.

If you are thinking of purchasing an airbrush make up kit I would reevaluate this product. I was cautious about airbrushing so I thought I would purchase a product that was going to be low in price. Well, you get what you pay for. I love airbrushing my foundation and after 3 weeks the gun broke and became defective. I am quite upset about this product and would not purchase it again. Go with a more pricey kit and don't waste your time with this product.

I really like this system. I basically went from never wearing foundation or this kind of makeup (just loose powder when needed) to airbrush makeup. I did some research before choosing this system/brand. Although others may have rated a bit higher in certain areas, it wasn’t by much, & this one definitely was the best that also was cruelty free, which is a must for me. It is really easy to use & like anything new, does take a little practice. I wanted something simple & easy to use; I didn’t need or want anything with too many settings, & this system gave me exactly what I wanted. Trust the instructions that less is more & I think you will be happy. The only negative is some of the makeup it comes with I will likely never use as they are not my color, but someone w/more talent, experience or patience might be able to mix the colors. Definitely happen I purchased this.

I bought my kit about two months ago. I had never used airbrush before...but the reviews were great on this one. I was still getting used to using it when my gun broke. I went back to using regular makeup and started breaking out again. I decided to contact the seller and ask if they could replace it even though it had been a while. They told me how to try to fix it...but that didn't work. So...no more questions asked...they're sending me a new gun the same day!! The makeup is good! I don't have anything to compare it to really....but my skin looks good after I use it and its less oily later in the day. I can throw some on before running out to the store...super quick and looks pretty natural. One suggestion...if you use a sunscreen/moisturizer...make sure you give it time to soak in before applying the makeup. I actually blot my face before applying the makeup so it doesn't separate or cake after it's applied.

The commercials for Photo Finish convinced me to purchase the product. It's a full coverage makeup that you can apply easily, faster, and have a flawless finish that lasts all day. I was excited to receive my kit and wasted no time to try it. The first time used it I spilled the makeup because of the position I held the pen. It wasn't easy trying to put the make up evenly and you have to wait till it dries. I have practiced and practiced and I still cannot cover my face evenly and I contiue to spill the make up. It does last longer than other make-up. Dissapointed with the product.
