I'm in a nursing home and need this applied to my skin on a daily basis to prevent sores and wounds from occurring. Equivalent to Vaseline only thicker - which I prefer.

This is what I was looking for. I don't know how or why, but It seems to me that petroleum jelly comes in different viscosity. A thinner type and a thicker type. It may be only slightly noticable, but it is noticable. This is the thicker type of petroleum jelly. In my opinion, This is much better for chafed skin and chapped lips than the thinner type like Vaseline. I will purchase again.
