If it's hard to get ink out, open the pen and push in the central core with a toothpick or something sharp. Or remove the core completely, the head is very easy to take out and disassemble. This will open the floodgates. I see what they were going for with this design, but the core needs to be much larger in diameter to provide enough paint flow. Without the core it's a perfect product for the money.

I love these and the variety of brush heads, however I took a while to work out how to unscrew the tops, it is the opposite way to the natural thread direction, but once I mastered it they are very simple to fill and use. Excellent product.

some water leaks out of a couple of them when you squeeze it and for a couple brushes its hard to get the water out of them. but they dont leak without pressure and are really good for on the go use or if you dont want to get a glass of water every time you want to paint

Clever water holding brushes. Use these a lot when travelling as they contain there own water supply. This is a good set with different sizes and brush heads.

Good pens

Decent pens but seem to have been repackaged— condensation inside some of the pens and some of them had a completely different lid (green lid is most obvious). The item was not listed as used when purchasing.
