Amazing little torch
What a great little pen torch the quality is second to none, especially when I realised you need to turn the switch to the on position in order for it to charge. Battery life is excellent many hours of use between changes. Highly recommend this product and the seller. Thanks

Handy medical pen light
I ordered this light pen for my wife as she takes care of the health of family members at home. She uses light to check our daughter's back throat when temperature appears and daughter feels not well. Usually she used little torch or light from mobile phone but with this precision pen like torch she can do it with comfort and precision.Pen have a bit of weight though and its body is smooth to touch. Pen gives 3 types of light among which 1 is yellow and 2 of them are white but with different super-strong bright light and half bright. I took few photos to show the difference.Pen arrived in hard case with short type C charging cable and 2 spare rubber washers. To charge this pen we need to unscrew it, there is type C port. After some time of use, the washer between the joining screwing point may get weaker so we have additional spare washers to use. Well thought.Pen have metal clip so professionals can hang it on shirt's site pocket. We aren't doctors or nurses but we can still use this pen at home, especially when now, during pandemic we need to diagnose ourselves at home and report health issues on phone call with doctor or nurse. Pen like this is definitely good to have especially when the yellow light is safe to use to examine an eyes, the white light to examine throat, ear or even helps to find something small dropped on the floor.I can recomend this product. It may seems a but pricey but is well made and works well too. One button changes all settings (on/off/white lights/yellow light).

Really strong white light, yellow light great for eye examination
I'm not a medical professional. Therefore it's not easy for me to judge how 'medical' this pen really is. I know it's good and useful though. It comes in a plastic hard box. Inside you'll get the pen, a USB-C to USB-A charging cable, 2 replacement washers and some instructions. All in a nice foam form. The pen itself is well made and looks esthetic. All black with the logo and some other info. I'm not exactly sure why I get a ruler and different radiuses on it also. Is it to know how deep I'm sticking it into somebody's mouth? It's not explained or referred to in the instructions or the item description. But it doesn't disturb anything either. It's got a metal clip so you can hang it in your chest pocket. The pen feels very solid, all being made of metal. The front bit has a watertight solid glass with the LED bulb behind. The back has the multi-function metal button. If you unscrew it (sort of like a normal pen), you'll get to the charging port which surprisingly is a USB-C. I wasn't expecting a 'futureproof' port with a medical pen so I am genuinely impressed. Charging takes approx 2.5h and lasts up to 19hs on the lowest setting. Red light around the port indicates charging, green means charged. Simple and nice. You get 3 light levels for different examinations. The lowest yellow light has removed blue light and is safe for eye examination. Checked and you can point the light at the eye without getting it irritated. The 2nd level is weaker white light, sufficient for mouth examination. The 3rd one is strong white light which can be used for ear exams. Or as a very portable flashlight. Trust me, it's strong enough.Operating the button is a bit fiddly. You kind of press it halfway to choose the light mode and then you press it fully to lock it. But if you release the button and press it fully after, you get the next mode. Personally I'd prefer 2 buttons perhaps. The pen is waterproof up to 1m. Not because you dip it in someone's mouth or in water, but to disinfect it properly later so you can use it with another patient. It has a rubber washer where you unscrew it, to protect the inside from moisture. In the end we come to the price. Which is quite hefty. The pen is well made and solid. It is a good source of light and can definitely be used for medical purposes. But the £36 makes me hesitate a bit. It's not an otoscope which also offers magnifying features but is still cheaper. Hence I've taken a star away. But if you don't mind the price too much, it really is a good, well made product.Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.

Convenient
This is small and easily carried in a pocket thanks to the sturdy clip. It's robust and seems to be waterproof as claimed, and from the look of it will last a long time. The lights are as described and very effective, and I have yet to run the battery down.Overall, pretty solid product.

Expensive but excellence.
Very well made and study medical penlight that is also 1 metre water-proof.The charging process requires you to unscrew the torch, plug in the USB lead (which is included) into the torch and connect the USB to a port, whether it be via plug point or laptop etc. It also has charge indicators, which tell you when its charged. It's a superior medical penlight, might just be a bit on the expensive side though.

Perfect
Amazing product. As a registered nurse this is very handy and perfect for checking patient’s eyes.i bought this in April 2021 and has been using it till yesterday, until someone at work stole it.But I should say it was my perfect companion during my work as an emergency room nurse. I even accidentally washed it with laundry, but never had a problem.Going to buy again as I couldn’t find the culprit. Will be charging it only at home(lesson learned).I recommend it for all healthcare professionals.
