Crosse & Blackwell Vinegar, Fish & Chips, 8.45-Ounce (Pack of 6)

there are only a couple of makes of malt vinegar I like, one of them is Cross & Blackwell's malt vinegar and the other is Heinz.Both taste good with fish and chips, or on fried bacon and tomatoes. I also use malt vinegar when mixing up a can of salmon with salt and pepperand then making a sandwich with some thinly sliced cucumber.

There seem to be few true malt vinegars available, but this one is outstanding. A good acidic balance and a robust malt flavor. We favor it on roast potatoes, in salads, and it makes an intriguing vinaigrette. Let me suggest (1/4") thick slices of zucchini ... tossed in a little olive oil with freshly ground salt and pepper, and then grilled in a panini press) ... dressed with a bit of this fine vinegar and some chopped fresh basil.Bon Appétit!

I use this on fish but more on fried potatoes. Tastes great.

Keep a bottle of this with you when eating your fish and chips. Everyone else will be jealously slobbering!

To me this is the best of malt vinegars and gives a true 'British' taste to french fries . I even use it in potato salad. yummy.

The only way to eat fish.
