All that listed in title is what's pulling my AFTCO bluewater shorts down, although I cinch my 5:11 belt tight.When I read about these DICKIES Belt clip suspenders, I was S-O-L-D. Now, I can slacken up my belt and when at work moving fast all over and bending over A LOT! My shorts stay up and comfortable.don't know about DURABILITY yet. But they seem to be durable. NO metal clips poking, no suspender adjusters poking.If you're a belt guy, and your belt is falling short as you age, and get rounder in the belly, or even if you're a drink of water and weigh-in at a buck 30, these could be for you.I use mine for at work 90% of the time.

These are perfect for me.way better than snap kind.bright red just in time for Christmas.will review after a couple months.
