High quality
For work , these could not be more comfortable. They are built of high quality and very sturdy. I wear these daily five days a week and have stuff in all the pockets. The phone pocket is very convenient and holds your cellphone very well. I forgot to take it out one day when riding my harley home and left the phone in the pocket and when I got home it was still there. So now I leave it in the pocket every day when I ride my harley to work and ride it home. The knees are double layered which gives a slight cushion when you do have to get down on your knees to get something. My only drawback is they do not have a 36th length in my size 40 waist. When standing, they look just right length. But when sitting down they ride high. Do too missing a thirty six inch length. This is my only drawback to wearing these pants.

very comfortable pants!!
these carhartt pants turned out to be incredibly comfortable. i find myself squatting and kneeling throughout the day and they always feel great. i’m 5’6 140lbs and got the 30x30 size pants and they fit amazing. the only issue i have is the dye of the pants. the first time i washed the pants (along with my laundry pile) i noticed that some of my clothes had black stains on them. this had never happened before i threw in the carhartt pants. i tried scrubbing it out and applying stain remover but to no success. at that rate, i doubt the color of the pants will last very long. bottom line: pants will likely be durable, but the color of the pants will probably fade

My go-to CA Fall hunting pants
These pants are well made, durable, and comfortable. I use them primarily for Fall deer hunting in California, where the typical temperature in mid-October is anywhere from 50-65 degrees, typically. These pants are durable. I've had 4-5 pairs for years and none of them have fallen apart, despite being subjected to trips, slips, falls, snares, snags, and other abuse while hiking/hunting through deep brush, scrub oaks, game trails, etc.The only critique or word of warning I have, which has been echoed by others, is that the waste runs small. You'll want to go one size up. If you're a 36 waist, order a 38 waist, and so on. The length is perfect, in my experience.

Understanding the correct size.
Originally had ordered 40x32 which is common on all pants that I buy.Had to send them back because they were long on the inseam, looked like they were 36" inseam. So, I returned them back to Amazon and immediately went back and ordered 40x30 which fit to perfection, my favorite pants now.Just informing that you need to order at least 2" less on the inseam and they will fit perfectly.Love this pair and now that I know the correct measurements will be ordering several more pair.Highly recommended, just get your size right.

Missing the Former Glory of Carhartt
My husband had a pair of these years ago when we lived in Alaska that I took over (they are perfect for my job!). They were actually a perfect fit and flattering, surprisingly, for a woman's bod! I wore them out over 12 years and now they are shorts since the knees are what gave out. The style number was still on them as well as the size and I found them here. Amazon delivered them quickly and I was so excited to receive them! Sadly, like so many other brands (Levi's for one), they aren't near the quality that they once were. They also don't fit like the ones i commandeered from my husband. They are much thinner and a bit baggier. I still wear the 'shorts' and they fit just right. These, however, are just not the same:( I'm keeping them, tho. I'm disappointed, Carhartt. You were my favorite brand when I used to work and fish in Alaska. And as the 'shorts' prove--great quality that went through hell and back and still held up! Will see how these fare. They are comfortable and the light weight will be good for working out in the hotter weather. Also--I know these are meant to be a lighter weight than the work pants, I am saying that they are way thinner than they used to be. The 12 year old pair that have been washed and worn a zilliontimes are still a heavier weight than the new ones...

Strong and durable
My husband is a logger and works outside in all conditions. These are durable enough for walking through the woods and crawling under equipment to repair. The last and are thick and strong without being to hard and uncomfortable.
