I install these underneath all of my cabinets in my garage. I did use a plate and then installed them.

I have bought 12 of these casters and put them on my light cases that weigh 50lbs. Works good!

These wheels worked perfect on my Big Green Egg table, it rolls so much easier than the old steel wheels that were on the table.

I saw what looked like two sets of identical casters, but this one was several dollars more. I ordered both to see.I am so happy to report that these casters are better. It will take years to really know, but out of the box, these casters are different than the cheaper set. They weigh the same, but this set has a higher load rating, and a quieter, smoother, wheel bearing and swivel, with brakes ever so slightly easer to depress because of the careful shaping of the switch.These are a good value for the price, even though it was more, even if it takes longer to ship. the casters on my tools are from the 80's, there is no need to rush. More importantly, this is a nice product. If you are the type of person who wants the nice one, these are nice. Smooth, strong, quiet. Lost of casters are solid, these are deluxe.I almost feel like the other product was made by trying to copy this one and make it cheaper, maybe it's a lesser model from the same manufacturer, I don't know how these things work, but, If you see the same for less, it's not as good. These are sweet.

Ok guys! I work on projects a in my garage on my days off. I have a small 2-car garage with limited space. As a result I put all of workbenches and storage carts on wheels to give me options. If I were to buy these wheels at a retail store I would be paying 4x the cost of these! Until now the caster wheels I had been buying at a retail hardware store were one of the largest cost factors in my projects. This is quality hardware and I will buy again! These are nice, solid casters at a great price. I’ve built rolling workshop furniture using them and I’m pretty happy with them, but after 4 years of use the non-sealed ball bearings seized up. I took them apart and cleaned the sawdust and whatnot out of them then packed them with grease to keep it from happening again. If you plan to use them in a dusty environment I’d recommend packing them before you put them to work.
