Versatile Team-Building or Competitive Play
I really like this game. My son was 4 when we first purchased it, and he still enjoys it a year later.First of all, ice cream is a fun theme for kids, so they will be enticed to play by just the theme. The ice cream balls are not like hard ping pong balls, but rather a soft silicone, so they are durable and easier to handle. This game is great for dexterity building, as you cannot pick the ice cream up with your hands, and instead have to use the cones, even if it falls off.The game also helps to build logic and planning, as your little one will need to sometimes move ice cream to the “wrong” cone in order to get it into the correct place at the end.Starting out we liked to play this game without competition and instead as a team, where my son helped us figure out how to find the solution with our ice cream (sometimes by demonstrating with his) and we asked him questions to help him discover a solution as well. So it can be a competitive game, but it can also be a problem-solving and team-building exercise with the child (or children) mirroring, or even giving direction through their own examples. If you found my review helpful please click the “helpful” button. It's fun for kids and adults
The media could not be loaded. This is a game that I actually like playing with the kids because it doesn't have complicated rules and doesn't take a long time to set up. It's very simple, but you can challenge yourself by following the cards exactly, including paying attention to the slight changes in depth of the cones (see the pictures of the cards that I uploaded). The basic gist is that you need to stack the cones and scoops WITHOUT touching the ice cream scoops, only the cones. It's harder than it looks, and adults don't have that much of an advantage because there are equal parts logic and dexterity (where my big hands don't work quite as well). The kids love to play it and I enjoy winning against them (and they frequently win, too).Overall, I highly recommend it as a good way for multiple players of varying ages to compete, or even for single players to race against a timer. Watch my short video (about a minute) to see my 6-year-old and 8-year-old playing against each other.

So much fun!
After playing a few times, we pulled some of the easier cards. It's a fun game when you have people of different age groups because they use different strategies. The most fun is when someone bumps the table (my niece does that on purpose now) and we're all chasing balls around the room trying to pick them up with the cones. We also created a variation where all the gelato balls start off in a big bowl and everyone has a big kitchen spoon to get the balls you need as you still can't touch them with your hands. It added a whole new level of difficulty and fun.

Beautiful Pieces, Great Kids Game
I'm a hardcore boardgamer (I own around 300 games.), but Blue Orange Games was not on my radar until I bought Kingdomino, the Spiel de Jahres winner this past year (Game of the Year in Germany, typically family oriented.).Now I own 3 of their games, and all for different reasons, but I am continually impressed by the games they have in their lineup.Go Go Gelato is definitely kid oriented, yet with the amazing pieces, can be enjoyed by anyone. It's simple to play, just flip a card and race to make your cones and scoops of gelato match the picture. The trick is that you can't touch anything but the cones with your hands. It's great for kids, helping with dexterity and logic. My 4 year old fell in love with it when we watched a video review, and we had to buy it for her birthday. She isn't going to win the races, but had a good time matching the pictures, and transferring the balls around.Overall, very highly recommend for kids.

Challengingly fun
I played Go Go Gelato! with three daughters aged 3, 6 and 9 years old. Everyone enjoyed it, but the older ones did so more. For me as an adult, it was fun for a start, but got a bit monotonous when played a second time around. In addition to being a fun family game, this one is also good played solo. It helps in focusing attention, learning to distinguish structures, and training agility and dexterity of the needed movements for eye/hand coordination. Also, the colors are really fun for young and old.To boot, I believe it teaches one a bit of ethical respondiblity in exercising conscientiousness in minding not to touch the balls in order to win.So, It’s all-around good fun and was much enjoyed (as are all Blue Orange games).

Great Classic game with an ice cream twist!!!
My kiddos love blue orange games. We have played almost all of them and they are big fans of all the games especially the Dr. Eureka series! When I opened this game, they got so excited because it involved their favorite food....ice cream. The game is easy to set up and play and there are easy and hard challenges which makes it a fun game to play with kids of all ages. I have used this game with 2nd graders to 6th graders and everyone loves it!

It will be good as a gift.
My 18 month old loves to play with cones and balls and make some ice cream. Of course now he doesn’t understand the concept of the game. We don’t follow the cards which are included. For now we just learn how to make ice cream with cones and ball. Quality is excellent. Balls are not too heavy and not too lightweight, which is good for toddlers whose coordination isn’t so good as adults.
