Exactly as described. It is sturdy and easy to install. Don’t know why it asked me about warmth, can’t rate warmth.

If your product is advertised as a 5 inch fitting and it is not 5 inches, then you should include the actual dimensions in the product description. There is an exact description of the box that it comes in but no description of the actual inside diameter of the product. Now I have four of these and can not use them for the application that I had in mind. More information is needed in your advertisement.

I needed two of these for a box enclosure to vent the fumes from my resin 3D printer to the outside of my house via a sealed piece of plywood that I fit under my raised window. I also used a third one in the same piece of plywood to vent the fumes from my paint booth. The worked out great, although the supposed 4" ducting wasn't 4" internal diameter, more like 3.75", so it was difficult to get the ducting over the vent pipes. It all worked out and am happy with the purchases.

When these items arrived, one of them had a large split. I waited until we tried to install them and then found that it wasn't going to work anyway because the AC needed a 5.25" port. Now the return window has closed and I'm stuck with these. Flat envelopes do not work well for thin plastic parts.

See the pictures! the outside dimension of the ring is 5.75" and in inside dimensions are smaller than that!! The picture tells it all. Cost me time and money. 6 inch pipe soft or hard does not fit through it. Amazon should take this off the site.
