Good size and quality
I bought this little kit and it came in a small rectangular box, packaging is nothing fancy. Its a very pretty navy blue wax and the beads melted very easily in the spoon with a flame. The provided tea candles aren't great, the flame was really small, but any ordinary candle probably works much better/ faster. I also bought some gold star wax beads and a stamp to go with this order, all three came in small packages and everything together was compact enough to fit in my mailbox. The stars I bought are similar size, and I only used two beads (one gold, one blue) to make the seal in this picture. It worked great and made a hard, durable, but slightly flexible seal. Cooled off in just a few seconds. The color combo is beautiful and this was my first time ever trying this. It was so easy and I will use it on my wedding invitations.

Beautiful Wax, Patience Required!
I had been wanting to put wax seals on our Christmas cards for years, and this was the first year I tried. I really love the final product!I will say, for white you have to be very careful with ash. I wiped the bottom of the melting spoon every so often bc if you’re not careful, ash will end up in the seal. I did a few practice stamps to work out those sorts of kinks as well as figure out how many pellets I needed. My stamp used 2.25 pellets for a “perfect” stamp. But I found 2.5 pellets easier to work with since I didn’t have to be so precise. Only downside to the kit was the tea lights, one of them wouldn’t flame up high enough to warm the spoon. Luckily, there was a second that did work in the kit.Would definitely recommend to someone who loves the look of wax seals on letters! Just be patient with the process! If you have 100s of things to seal and not much free time, maybe opt for a glue gun wax option instead.

Very pretty, but not for all!
These are very pretty! I would completely recommend them if you want a seal that is more "permanent".Just as advertised!- They are a more "plastic-ish" type of wax, so they tend to get cool and hard faster.- They look really pretty with just two-three beads you can get a really nice looking seal.- If you want the seal to stay intact, like sealing a Wine Bottle or a document or invitation, these work great!BE CAREFUL!Since these are not so like candle wax or beeswax, and they are more "plastic-ish" they won't break as easily. If you're trying to seal a paper letter or envelope and you want to break it and open it... these are NOT for you! (look at the last picture).Maybe there's a different kind of paper that work with these, but they didn't work for me.

Easy to use and beautiful results!
I used to use the wax sticks and this was my first go with the wax beads. I used them to seal 50 thank you cards at once and am SO happy with how easy they were to use! The candle it comes with burns nice and hot and I had it going for an hour and it’s still basically a full candle. For a large seal it only takes 2 wax beads for enough. I also used a toothpick to help stir the wax while it melted which made it even quicker and easier. So glad I found these!

Very solid seal
3-4 beads is good for your average quarter size seal. It makes a very solid seal, too. Doesn't seem to crack or break easily. I sent three letters out right off the bat, and they held up well!Doesn't stink, hasn't ashed at all, remains shimmery and takes a stamp well.AS ALWAYS when making wax seals, remember to leave the seal in for a few seconds BEFORE removing it. This wax works perfectly - if you use it right!
