The light has no instructions but if you can figure out 2 wires you don't have to be a genius. It fits loose but use some silicon and your waterproof. Looks great and very bright.

I grew tired of the dealership swapping out the old fashioned bulb whenever it burned out. This LED will be much more durable. Looks better too.

First one I installed worked great excrpt it fell off. So I ordered a new one and the upper plastic retainer arms broke upon install. Since no wiring instructions for vrod you have to figure out. No problem for mechanical person. But those retainer arms should be more sturdy.

2008 HD night rod specialPerfect for getting rid of the license plate bracket /turn signals.*installation instructionsTake off rear seat (2 nuts) , remove 6 bolts from rear fender, then remove the tag bracket and cut the wires leaving the harness in tact for future removal without having to cut wires. Splice all grounds together (2 black wires) , remove factory bulb & plug in new brake light and splice each turn signal separately (purple wires) on corresponding sides. You wont need license plate wires (2 gray wires) You will not need resistor (plug in thing it comes with) if you have stock (non led) front turnsignals .

Works great but needs better instructions because the instructions it comes with are plain and are only good for certain types of bikes

The wireing sucks a stupid bulb socket pice failed and no clue how to get around it
