Versatile fitness equipment that ships in well protected packaging
This is a long winded but hopefully detailed review for the Bongkim weight bench with leg extension. It shipped within the time frame specified. Here are some dimensions that may not be clear in the manufacturer description:Seat portion of bench: 12 inches wide, with approximately 14 1/2 inches of useful length once the foam rollers are attached at the bottom of the preacher curl beam.Back rest of bench: 12 inches wide, 30 5/8 inches long. The gap between the seat and back rest in flat position is approximately 1 1/2 inches. In flat position the bench surface is 19 1/2 inches off the ground. Bench is 2 inches thick, and pretty comfortable.Fixed lower posts: 34 7/8 inch gap width between inside edges of posts, 38 3/4 inch outside edge to outside edge. Uses standard 2 inch by 2 inch size with 1 inch peg holes for optional after market attachments. Lowest possible position of the bar resting on the large red spotter arm is 26 inches off the ground.Adjustable upper posts for squatting: 34 15/16 inch inner edge to edge gap width, 38 1/2 inch outer edge to outer edge width. 1 3/4 inch by 1 3/4 inch width/depth of adjustable posts, again with 1 inch peg holes. Highest possible position of the bar resting on the squat spotter arms is 56 3/4 inches from the ground.Due to the different thicknesses of the metal between the fixed lower posts and the adjustable upper half, the longer red spotter arms must be used on the bottom, and the shorter red spotter arm pair must be used on top. They are not interchangeable. Your standard 6 ft barbell will fit on this bench provided it has 40 inch shaft width between the collars. As long as your weight plate has a total diameter under 19 1/2 inches, you can use it on the leg extension/curl. The average diameter I'm seeing on Amazon for 45 lb plates is 17 inches, so you should be good.PROS:1. Adjustable height spotter arms. I'm 5' 10" average build. I am able to find a setup where the longer spotter arms can catch the barbell before it would hit my face, should I have a catastrophic failure during bench press in flat position.2. There are 3 distance options for leg curl foam roller length. This wasn't clear in the product description, but you can choose one of three distances to place the foam rollers that catch the back of your leg while performing leg curls. Nice feature so that people of different heights can do a comfortable leg curl.3. Standard 2" by 2" posts. The fixed, lower part of the barbell posts uses 2 inch by 2 inch size with 1 inch peg holes. This is a common size. So if you don't like the look or feel of the larger red spotter arms, you can order different ones. The adjustable, higher part of the posts that you would use for squats is 1 3/4 ich by 1 3/4 inch with 1 inch holes.4. Folding to save space. In folded position, it's about 47 inches wide outside edge to outside edge (the foot rests of the base taper out), 28 inches deep (mostly due to the support leg which houses the preacher curl at the front of the bench), and roughly 86 inches tall with leg attachment. 65 inches tall if you remove leg attachment.5. I find the angle of the preacher curl pad to be perfect for full range of motion. I believe most people would be able to completely extend their arms. A lot of other benches use an angle that makes you hit some part of the bench when trying to fully extend in rested position of a curl.6. Easy to put together. There are only 3 different types of screws. One set of 2 hexagonal is for the weight storage posts at the bottom rear of the equipment, one set of 2 is for securing the preacher curl pad to its post, and then one type of screw is used for everything else.7. I could not be more impressed with the packaging. If your bench set arrives damaged, it will be due to the shipping carrier, not the manufacturer. Each piece was either boxed or wrapped in bubble wrap. Hardware was in its own box. Paper instructions included.CONS:1. Due to the folding nature of the bench, there's some wobble when it's upright. A catch pin keeps it secure, but it's a little unsettling. When unfolded and resting on foam or rubber mats, the bench set feels sturdy.2. I wish the back bench rest could be adjusted to a full 90 degrees, but you'd be too far from the posts for it to do you much good. I also wish the bench had decline positions. Manufactured clearly states this, so no buyer's remorse on that score.3. You'll want to buy longer spotter arms if you are planning on squatting any considerable amount of weight. The longer set of red spotter arms extend roughly 7 3/4 inches from the posts, with 7 3/8 inches of useful space to rest a barbell.4. The bench ships with an olympic plate attachment to use with the leg curl, but no adapters for the rear weight storage posts. If you want to store olympic plates at the rear of the equipment, you'll need to buy a pair of olympic adapters. Length of standard plate storage posts is 7 3/8 inches.5. Some screws at the base of this bench extend at or just under the space of the foot rests. This won't be an issue on carpeted floors. If you are setting this bench up in a home with wood floors, you must use foam or rubber mats.Overall this seems like the best folding bench set on Amazon. If you're a smaller person or just starting out with fitness, it may be unruly for you to try to carry when folded. I recommend setting it up against whichever wall where you want it to fold. Only downside for versatility is lack of decline positions. If you are fortunate to have the space to set this up where it is not against the wall, you could probably buy a separate utility bench with decline position and use that at the rear of this set. The red spotter arm pairs can face front or rear to do that, though the black spotter arms are fixed welds.

Great Product!
We bought this after recently moving into a house and it fits perfectly in the room! We cancelled our gym memberships and mainly use this. We did have to purchase a bar to use but by itself has a lot of versatility (squats, bench press, leg extension and curls, preacher curls, etc). It also has the ability to fold up and leave more space for stretching afterwards! Was very nervous to purchase because we thought it would have a cheap feel to it. It is the opposite! It is very well made and is worth the money!

High Quality
Perfect for a home gym. Great quality with many features. Quick and easy set up. Also space saving- it folds up. Be sure to buy a 7 foot bar. A standard bar is too small.

Well packaged
Very well packed and going together nicely. If you have about a 5' table to work on in the begining that will make it easier. Will take more photos when done and update.....
