Quality mature cheese can be a little expensive from some farm shops. But i found buying this box with several cheese better value dont mind paying that bit more for quality cheese.

Very nice texture and taste

This is a nice cheese but I guess I must have been spoilt in the past when it comes to Extra Mature Cheddar. I also admit taste is personal. I liked the creamy flavour but felt the strength lacked depth and the texture just a little too crumbly, more like a Cheshire. I'd describe it as a nice cheddar with hints of extra mature flavour but a little lack lustre. I purchased it as a gift for my husband who politely said I could use it for cooking after a few days of trying it out on a few different crackers. I felt that was a bit harsh in terms of its quality but that was his honest opinion. Give it a go, you may like it. Very nicely packaged and promptly delivered.

We first purchased this cheese at a craft show a few years ago and fell in love with it! Finding it on Amazon was great and the friend I ordered it for was delighted. It arrived well packed and was still chilled despite DPD being a day late delivering it. Great customer service from the Snowdonia Cheese Company themselves as I had to contact them to change the delivery address. Amazon your auto generated system is dire and needs to be changed! You can buy direct from the Snowdonia Cheese Company which is what I will do in future. Delicious cheese!

Bought as a Xmas gift. Was a little hesitant being a chilled product. Cheese arrived perfectly chilled with ice packs and in a nice presentation box too. Needless to say , the gift was enjoyed
