Well made and works very well.
Have been using this spoon for a few months now and really like it. I use it in my 12 and 16 quart stock pots, It is the perfect size and shape for stirring large batchs of sauce, soup, and stews. Works well to avoid hot liquid splashes when I stir.

Great for making roux
I was recently in New Orleans and I saw a roux spatula. It was $38. I got this one instead. It came in a nice box with nice little inserts, one which offers a discount for a future purchase. The long handle means you're safe from spitting oil and the flat end means you can scrape up the bottom of the pan so the roux doesn't burn. I'll make gumbo soon! Thanks.
