I bought this for a Doctor I work with as a birthday gift. I turned it into a sign for him and it is absolutely stunning. He said by far it’s the best professional gift he has gotten! It wasn’t too hard to put together. I got it done in about 4 hours!

The sharp detail, the quality of the construction of the pieces - outstanding teaching tool, outstanding gift for the right person.

First of all this is easily one of the coolest puzzles I have ever done, it was really fun to work on. The payoff for completion is totally worth it, this puzzle is EYE catching! :) The image quality is great and you can tell it was done by a true artist. It's a good size and the shape of the border makes it much more interesting than a plain straight edge. Besides looking amazing the quality of the puzzle and the packaging are excellent also. The puzzle pieces fit together perfectly and are sturdy, I think if done by a careful adult the puzzle would stand up to many uses and still look great. The box it comes in is wonderful, it's made to look like a medical book and the lid is magnetized to secure it to the bottom.In my opinion this puzzle is a great buy. I think it would be a real attention getter to have it matted in a shape matched frame on the wall of a doctor's office or in a school room. One of my friends said it was "creepy cool" and suggested I leave it assembled through October for Halloween :)Genius Games sells quite a number of Dr. Livingston's other anatomical puzzles that I would love to try and if you like puzzles I would recommend you give them a try them too!

This puzzle is both educational and fun to do. It depicts a cut out of an eye and shows you the inside view of an eyeball. It's 544 pieces in total - so a great group activity for students or families. The box it comes in is also interesting - it looks like a book with the pieces inside. At first I thought the puzzle would be 3D, but it is a flat puzzle and not hard to put together. The puzzle isn't a typical one with a rectangle border and edging - but it does have an edge so that you can put it together. The artistry and color is really great. I can picture displaying this for halloween because lets face it - it's a bit creepy looking inside the human body! It's also suggested that you can use in a frame and hang it on a wall. What a cool gift for any science loving human :)

I got this as a gift for my wife who works in the field of Ophthalmology. This is a fun gift she can assemble with the kids and teach them about the field she works in. The puzzle pieces are a good sturdy quality. The picture has vibrant colors and so far she hasn't made any comments about inaccuracies in the image. If you are thinking about giving as a gift the box is nice and looks like a text book. Overall this is looks good and is educational. It is a fun gift for anyone interested in anatomy or the optometry/ophthalmology field.
