Perfect for making sushi for 2
I have a larger hangiri and it's just too big to make sushi for 2 people. This is so much better. Well built, sturdy and the best part is that it has a lid - that's a game changer.

Muy bueno!
Tengo un restaurante de sushi y llevo más de 3 años con el, usándolo todos los días. Si le das buen uso te va a durar mucho. Ya he comprado 2!

Great for small family or couple
Professional sushi chef and I use this at home for my family and for small private gigs wouldn’t recommend for restaurant use as it’s too small

Good use
Looking for a large size, that would help us in mixing the rice. There is a local store that sells a slightly larger size, at twice the price, so order this instead. Just remember to dry it thoughly, or it's going to mold/mildew. Not dishwasher safe, manually clean it

Great for sushi!
My boyfriend and I purchased this to match our sushi making kit we had bought at a previous date. It definitely cools the rice the way we wanted it to, but we don't use the lid. We found it takes too long for the rice to cool. The first time we used it, there was an awful taste of bamboo on our rice, so we use parchment paper when using it. A good purchase, but only for a very specific need. If you need a sushi rice bowl, this is a good option but modifications need to be made.

Great for the value
If you say this is cheaply made, it probably is for the price. But this is REALLY good for the price! And will do the job! If you’re looking for a traditional hangiri with actual copper rings and the right type of wood and all then you should expect to pay over $70! And if you don’t do your research, your rice will taste funky. You need to season it first before use.

Awesome Sushi Tub with Lid
Today I received the BambooMN Sushi Tub with Lid 14.2 inch and it is Awesome. It was package securely. It has an unfinished wood color ( Natural material) with a smooth finish and it has no smell the Lid is not air tight on the Tub.I have not used it yet , but I don’t see any reason for it not to work as it is intended for. I would recommend this BambooMN Sushi Tub with Lid to everyone, I purchased this Sushi Tub for myself.

Schrott/Verarsche

Great for making sushi
Does this make a difference to sushi making? yes it does.I am not a professional and make sushi for my daughter - a fuzzy eater. Now with zojirushi rice cooker, koshikari sunrice rice, sushi knife and this the sushi I make is better than the store bought in texture and taste (not comparing to specialized Japanese restaurants). It is worth the extra cost? not sure unless you spend heaps for buying perfect sushi from restaurants. Guess that becoming closer to perfection has a price to pay

Rub a tub tub
My first Hangiri so I can only go on what I have experienced with this one. From a construction point of view it’s very well made, it doesn’t have copper bands like the more expensive ones, I couldn’t justify the cost of the more expensive ones as I only sushi rice once or twice a month. Out of the box it gives off a very woody whiff but as all Hangirista’s will tell you like your wok it needs seasoning following the instructions of the YouTube experts I seasoned it with vinegar soaks even an overnight one rinsed it out and left it on the side to slowly dry. And now it’s part of the Sushi toolkit it’s great for cooling and seasoning the rice I use one of those little hand held battery fans (cheat, lol) glad I got itCaptain K says yay
