Decent tasting snack bar with some protein and creatine
This was surprisingly good in terms of taste and texture, in part because it's not a very high protein bar. But it's more protein than you'd get in a chocolate bar or normal flapjack, and it's got added creatine too.As a result of not being stuffed with protein it doesn't taste too bad which is unusual - I generally don't get on with protein bars because I don't eat nuts so that style is useless to me, and the others tend to be a chore to eat.I wouldn't eat this purely for pleasure but it's not nearly as hard to eat. You might easily like this a lot as well, obviously you'd have to try it for yourself.I don't think it's a good diet product obviously as it's still got plenty of calories but it's healthier than some options I'm sure and if you're a very active person you quite probably have the calorie budget for it.

Good, would recommend
These vegan creatine bars from Creatine Collective are quite delicious. They have a substantial size, so be prepared to take a big bite! The texture is pleasantly crunchy, and I didn't notice any graininess, even with the inclusion of faba bean powder. There's a subtle blueberry flavor, but the sweetness is the dominant taste. As someone who enjoys sweet treats, I find them enjoyable, but I wouldn't suggest them for those who prefer savory flavors.

Good tast
The media could not be loaded. It's quite good and doesn't contain too many artificial ingredients. Unfortunately it's still contains a large variety of sugars, but I think it's acceptable in this case. It's not an overwhealmingly sweet, but an enjoyable snack. Considering it's size, I think the unite price can be considered acceptable too.

Good and inexpensive source of protein and creatine but "fake" taste
If you are looking for alternative ways to take your creatine and protein (not in pills and powder), these bars by The Creatine Collective (go figure!) could be exactly what you're looking for (or maybe if you were just looking for a different type of snack?).The pack contains 12 bars and at the time of writing the whole box costs £13. which makes these just over £1 a bar. This is rather inexpensive when it comes to protein bars, especially considering the inclusion of creatine.Having said that, the important bit - how does it taste like?Well.. The texture is very similar to a cereal bar, but the taste is something akin to a fake blueberry.Whilst this is not the worst taste in the world, it made consuming these not as pleasant as I wished they would be.Overall, despite my small qualm with the taste, I still think this is not a terrible alternative, especially given the relatively attainable price..

Nice, But Expensive
I got these Creatine Collective energy bars to see how well they might replace breakfast or lunch as I usually tend to just have a bowl of cereal and a sandwich at the respective times. There are 12 x 55g bars in the, very plain looking, box they arrived in. I was actually surprised how big the bars looked when I opened the box. I decided to have one of these as a breakfast replacement. The bars are quite chunky and have the look of a coloured compacted Rice Krispie (not surprising as they contain Rice Crispies). They actually taste quite nice though I would suggest you have a drink ready with them as they are a little dry tasting after a few bites.Having had my 'breakfast' I felt quite fulfilled and did not feel particularly peckish for the next 5 or 6 hours. I still had my usual sandwich for lunch and then a main meal at dinnertime. While I did find these quite nice and filling, they are not something I would eat every day as I do like a bit of variety, and I do not think I would continue to buy them but really only because the cost (currently £18.99) for 12 energy bars is just too much for me personally. If the the price was more realistic I might reconsider.

Wow, that's a lot of sugar!
These Creatine Collective vegan creatine bars are pretty tasty. They are quite chunky so you need to open wide to take a bite! They are nicely crunchy and I didn't detect any grittiness despite them having a faba bean powder in them. There is a faint hint of blueberry, but mostly the flavour is just overwhelming sweetness. I have a sweet tooth and think they taste nice, but I wouldn't recommend them to someone whose tastes lean more savoury.Reading the ingredients list, the biggest ingredient by weight is inverted sugar syrup. This comes higher than the soy protein crispies which the labelling indicates make up 20.2% of the ingredients. That means that the inverted sugar syrup must be more that 20.2%! We then have vegan caramel which must make up more than 9.5% of the ingredients as it's placed ahead of the dried blueberry pieces (which will be quite sugar heavy themselves). There are lots of other mentions of sugars in the ingredients too, mostly as sub-divisions of other components such as the vegan white chocolate. All this to say that I wouldn't regard this as a particularly healthy product!I think these are a good option for an occasional snack, but I don't think they will become a regular addition to my diet. Even adjacent to vigorous exercise, I think there are better options.
