Excellent paint…crap delivery
Hi. I’ve given the paint five stars because it is really good stuff. Very pleasant colour, easy to apply and clean up. I used it on a brand new picnic table. A minimum of two coats is required and although that’s a pain the second coat offers a really good finish and depth of colour. I know from experience this paint is durable and the colour and protection from the elements lasts. The delivery was delayed which was very inconvenient. I tracked the package which was originally sent to Ireland then returned to the uk, what was that about. I was about to cancel it when it arrived and I don’t feel it’s fair to mark the paint down because the delivery set up is poor. Old English green…a beautiful colour.

Lovely colour and goes on fantastic.
This is two coats on all furniture I've painted, I used a paint sprayer also and used it as 2/1 part paint to water. The application is lighter than the colour it drys, the colour in the pic is similar to when it's wet for some reason doesn't show the true depth of blue with phone cam. It's a shade darker I'd say and looks gorgeous. I've painted two of these chairs and a two seater version of it and a bench. All fully coated. I was absolutely covered which I removed with ease with some body oil. I used a total of 2l of paint. Just the table and another two seater to do with my remaining tubs. I'm confident I'll have plenty to spare.

Really deep rich colour, perfect for wooden furniture
We have a table and 4 chairs that are about 10 years old and in real need of a spruce up.This is not a thick paint, but it's not as thin as fence paint, so at most you will need a couple of coats to get a nice finish. It goes on a lighter shade of grey (still dark though) and as it dries it turns this lovely slate colour. My partner had already lightly buffed the table to get rid of residue varnish so the paint went on like a dream. The chairs were are bit of a nightmare, they fold up so unless you separate them, I wasn't willing to do this, for fear of them not going back together (they are 10 years old!)I decided to prep a couple with plastikote cupboard door spray paint to see if it helped avoid drips and missing bits.It definitely helped me see all the patches I'd missed but slowed down the drying time as the paint had nothing to soak into. From this experience I'd say you don't really need an undercoat unless the item you're painting is really porous, just do two coats! It's been really sunny here so the paint dried within a couple of hours and barely needed a touch up.This paint can also be used on metal and brick so I'm considering using it cover some troughs and ceramic pots too.

Works a treat on brick work
Just had my rendering done white and my Mrs wanted me to paint the sills. I have never painted in my life and panicked getting the paint on the new white render and also on the bare brick on kitchen window. It’s quite thick and using the correct brush (Harrison’s) worked a treat with fantastic results. The photo is one coat only and just put another on but too dark to take a photo. You get the jist

Urban Slate looks fantastic
I painted mine and my neighbours fences using urban slate, it covers beautifully (See pic 1 for side by side) even on rough timber. I also used one if the green shades on my shed and that looks great, too.Really happy.

Good quality paint
I bought this paint to paint my wooden poles for horse jumps. Really nice colour, I used about three layers to keep the wood protected. Helps stop the wooden from cracking and prevent the wood from rotting by giving it a waterproof layer. Takes about 30mins to dry but I would probably allow a good couple of hours to let it dry before painting another layer, maybe longer if it’s not sunny or warm. Make sure you paint on a day you know isn’t going to rain to allow the paint to properly dry before getting wet. I bought many of these colours and liked all of them. I think it’s good value for money.
