Old Timer making a comeback...
These bring back so many memory's all good, and now I have found the taste for them again, what's different is so many flavours to choose from, I have also found a quick way to cook them in my air-fryer, 180 for 15 mins golden crispy top, we never had that when I was growing up.Great.Look out Fray Bentos.

Not bad
Not bad for a pie in a tin. Could do with more meat but you can grill them for a quick cook and crispy crust. This has a nice meaty taste.

Value for money
Delighted with price and good chicken pie. Such a good price bought several. I find this a fine meal choice for a speedy and tasty dinner. Hope the price remains so affordable.

Whats happening with the meat
Use to love fray bentos, every week at some point always had a fray bentos with peas and spuds, but now they have seemed to have got really stingy with the meat, my last one had just 7 pieces of meat inside it and even they were only small bits? The crust is still nice and tastes great, just a shame they have decided to cut down on the inside.

Horrible
Kind of expected they would be horrible so no surprise. Bought for a retro 70s theme dinner with friends!Pastry top layer nice and fluffy but underneath very soggy from touching filling. Filling really just liquid with very little substance. Poor value all round - especially considering cost of heating the oven.We had a laugh though so all not lost!!
