Not bad, but lacking in detail.
This DVD gives a decent overview of the subject, but it can be vague in critical areas. It still has a few great nuggets of info and works best as a supplement to other materials and training.Let's look at the section on ramming. Earlier in the DVD, they use diagrams to show how to take turns. Similar diagrams would have been a great supplement to explaining subframe alignment, especially when considering different vehicle matchups, but we don't get that here. It also doesn't specify anything about how fast you should actually approach when you ram. Should it be around 20mph? 30? 40? Should that change based on vehicle matchup or driving surface? If so, how much? We get no such information on that.Instead all we get is "I accelerate" and "vehicle preservation". This is one of many examples of where the instructor makes assumptions for the audience and fails to explain or go into detail. I see this all the time in instructors who are highly skilled at doing something, but maybe they haven't devoted the same level of time and effort to the skill of teaching. That said, the ramming section isn't a total loss. Aside from making the viewer aware of subframe alignment, it covers airbag and fuel sensor considerations, and those are good things to be aware of.The same general pros and cons for this section apply to most other sections of the DVD. For example, I would have really liked to have known more about what turning techniques to use in what situations and why. We get a full 10 minutes on pendulum turns and get to know how they work mechanically, but never find out *why* you'd use one instead of an emergency brake turn, or general situations where it shines. Some of that missing info can be found for free online, like if you Google "tgace tactical preschool" or "sage dynamics" on YouTube. I'm sure there are other resources online about aspects of advanced driving and vehicle defense. The info on rally racing and offroad driving were each good. The section on how to safely back down a failed hill climb can potentially save your life. All in all, if you're interested in advanced driving, it's probably worth your time and money, since the info can save your life. Just keep in mind that you may have to slog through some parts that are missed opportunities before you get to the good info.

I've viewed many Panteao videos and this one I did enjoy. This video does not teach stunt driving but transitions from different road surfaces which is "very" common overseas. I loved his portion on crash procedures which roll over drills are a common practice. Unfortunately I did not "love" this video as there is so much topic to cover and this DVD can not cover it all. It is the only video you'll find of it's kind though. His lecture on off road techniques was very basic. Not much in the way of instruction. I felt at times this video was an advertisement for his ISA school. Most Panteao videos are advertisements.

Good for the beginner
It covers the basics well.

Don't bother.
No information you wouldn't learn from an episode or two of Top Gear. All you need to know for each driving tech ique is that you want to alter the ve-hicle dynamic by modulating the throttle.Sections of audio are also missing, random black-outs in the video, etc.

Awsome class!
Driving class with a lot of twist and turns. Some shooting from inside and outside the car. Also how to use the car as a shield.
