Nice press
Very nice, easy to assemble, works great. I added wheels for easy storage, it should probably come with them.

Awesome!!!
I totally love my shop press, it made wheel bearing and hub replacement so much smoother. I have one little problem, and I mean it’s a little one.If you could package the nuts and bolts all in a heavy duty ziplock bag and zip tie it to one of the major parts so it could better the odds of it making it to its destination. I received my package with a hole that was taped up, and I know it’s bulky and heavy. I received everything but the nuts and bolts didn’t make it. So I improvised and went to Home Depot and got what I needed. Hopefully you can read this and make it better for you next customer.

Press missing parts
The press would probably have been a good tool; however, I will never know as a large portion of the critical parts were missing. One (1) upright post, two (2) support feet, two (2) locking pins among other small parts. The packaging it was shipped in from Norhtern Tool was entirely too weak for the heavy load that it was transporting. Hopefully, Northen Tool will improve their means of transporting their heavy products.

Good for the price
Gets the job done. For a hobby it is good.

Strongway 12 ton press
It is a descent little press but if close tolerance is what you are looking for. Look elsewhere. If all the parts are in the package when it arrives it may serve the purpose you need. Mine arrived without the bellows so like a table without the top so I made my own out of 1/4” angle. Norther Tool which sold it to me here on Amazon does not take care of you. They have you contact Tilson for any missing components. Other than a main component not being in the package the striker bar the Jack is attached too has about a 1/4” gap on each side which will allow for the striker bar to shift left or right by that amount when pressure is being applied. This is ok to me because I am using it to crush retired HDDs. I would not use it to press in bearings and such items risking damage to expensive parts. As far as the Jack, it is a Jack. Slow action but it has good force and crushes HDDs with ease. It is roughly 5 foot tall and close to 2 foot wide. It stands fine and is about 100 lbs. the legs have holes pre drilled so you can bolt down or put on wheels like I have, so I can move it to where I want it when needed. It is an inexpensive press so don’t expect it to be the quality of a more expensive unit. Hopefully all the parts will be there when it arrives. The assembly bolts are 4.8s I replaced with grade 8.

Its a 12ton so it works what its designed for .
Easy to assemble ,i used it for pressing my bearing in on axle carrier an pinion an transmission bushions ,i havent had any dislikes about its worked for what it is designed for.i can see if your doing big jobs that requires i bigger press then get a bigger one this is really for small jobs thats my opinion but it works great for what I use it for.

A Little Sketchy!
It was complete and it does work...kinda. I can't seem to get the bottle jack to return to its shortest position. I purged the air about 6 times and nothing. shortened the springs maybe a little better. It takes 170 strokes to move the jack through its entire range of motion. Normal? This is close to being a good unit but comes up a little short. After making several calls and finding the correct way to purge the pump and putting an additional 1/2 cup of fluid in the jack, I'm getting somewhere. I think the purge instructions are incorrect in the instructions although I didn't try it that way after filling the reservoir.Basically I look at this low-end stuff like raw material. I get a bunch of parts and I assemble it correctly and attempt to work around or redesign things. At this point, I put an additional $20 and a number of parts to make it a decent machine. Good luck

Was a bit worried after reading all the reviews
Ordered the afternoon of the 16th, delivered by noon on the 19th. Box was in-tacked and all pieces were within. Put it together in about 15mins and pressed out a ball joint in 30 seconds! Could not be any more happy!!
