Really happy with these colours
Bought these to hand paint Pokémon for cake decorations. I’m no artist, or baker so excuse my drawings. Just a mum who likes to make the kids birthday cakes. These are so affordable and do a perfect job. The pots are small, but they are strong colours, so only a tiny drop is needed.I’m really pleased with the range of colours, they are vibrant, blendable, easy to paint on and dry nicely too! To dilute the colour where needed, I added water to my brush and the colour spread/lightened easily. They also mix easily to create different shades and tones.I haven’t tried them mixed into icing yet, but as they’re quite concentrated I can’t see it being a problem. For what I wanted to use them for, I couldn’t be happier. They don’t leave a weird after taste (I ate the rejects) and don’t have a flavour, that I could taste anyway.Had to leave a review because they were a joy to paint with! If you’re wanting to hand paint on to fondant, I recommend these food colours. They are brilliant and come in a box so they can be stored neatly.Only draw back is the lids can be difficult to remove. The seals don’t all always break, I had to use a nut cracker to turn some of the lids. They also stain skin, hence them coming with a pair of plastic gloves. I didn’t use the gloves as they would get in the way, so be mindful that they will stain skin and clothing should spillages occur.Otherwise these are fantastic and got the job done!

Great for the price
These colourings are great for the price- just don’t expect colour mill/wilton standard. The bottles are very small but for the lighter pastel colours, you really don’t need that much. For the darker more vibrant colours, I did use a lot and had to mix a few colours together to achieve the brightness. It didn't affect the taste though, but it won’t be worth it if you want deep colours all the time due to the amount you need.Colours butter icing, cake batter and icing sugar wonderfully. I don’t recommend it for chocolate as it’s not oil based so will spoil the chocolate if you’re not careful.I would buy these again as they’re perfect for when my grandson wants to help with nanna’s baking and I make him up some sugar icing for his ‘biscuit painting’

Food colouring
Arrived promptly and was well packaged. Had a plethora of colours and were very easy to use. It looses a star as some colours could've done with more vibrancy. All in all a great product and good value for money.

True colours. But remember A little goes a long way
Great quality and value for money. You really don’t need a lot, so this box will last me quite a while as a baker. Highly recommend.

One colour had already leaked over the package.
I received this package a day or two before required and I was initially keen for it because of the wide range of colours offers. So when I opened the package to use it, I was dismayed to find out one of the green colours had leaked all over the package. Unfortunately, it was too late to return and receive a replacement so I continued to use it. I was not that impressed with the strength of colour - it took a whole (tiny) bottle to get even close to the colour I required.

Nice starter kit
This pack enabled me to get a good selection of colours for a reasonable price. The bottles are small but they should be sufficient for several batches of whatever, depending on how bold you want your colours. We use them for cooking & baking so don't need them to be ultra-vibrant.I did find some of the colours not quite how I expected them, however. I used the sky blue expecting it to be a light pastel blue but it looked more of a sea green. I actually found I got a better light blue by using only 2 drops of one of the darker blues. My partner uses some for the icing of his cupcakes as he likes to experiment with things so has recently started making multicoloured icing & these help no end as to buy all these colours as bigger bottles would be extortionate, whereas now he can use the pink & purple for his candy floss flavoured icing without having loads of big bottle taking up space bearing in mind he might not use that particular colour again for some considerable time.I find them ideal for my needs & my other half pinch them occasionally when he wants to use a colour he doesn't use frequently enough to warrant buying a big bottle (IE Purple). They should still last us for a while even though they are small bottles since we don't need more than a few drops at a time.If you are starting out making things & want a nice little starter kit to get you up & running without spending loads on individual bottles, it would be worth investing in this kit to see what colours you use frequently & also have some backups of the ones you might need occasionally.
