Great safeguard for those pesky power outage
I bought 3 of the mid power pumps a little over a year ago to use in my 3 tanks. I have a 55g, 120g and a 125 gallon. I use them all as daily pumps and they have worked well during a couple of power outages to keep oxygen flowing in the tanking. They just work like regular pumps and are very quiet, and when an outage happens they switch to battery mode automatically. The pump on my 125g went out shortly after the 1 year warranty, so I replaced it with the most powerful unit. The first one I received was extremely loud and I thought it might have been because of the power, but I exchanged it for a new one and it was just a bad unit. The new unit is very quiet and quite powerful. Hopefully it lasts longer than 1 year, but if not, they are priced affordably.

Great for small tanks near limited outlets :)
I really like this air pump! My 2.5 gal shrimp tank wasn't getting enough surface agitation therefore had low oxygen levels which I needed to fix. I had a dilemma though since is the tank is on my bedroom dresser where there’s zero actual outlets so I’ve got a surge protector run from another wall but all the real outlets in it were already in use. It did however have a usb port open so I hit the jackpot when I found this rechargeable pump!It took mere minutes to setup, is small enough to fit in limited space & really quiet. I can’t even hear it versus the actual air stone bubbling & my floor fan. I normally can’t stand any light source while sleeping but the blue light faces up at my ceiling slightly lighting up the pitch black. I oddly found it soothing & had zero negative effects on my sleep, although I may tape over the lights no big deal to do.I used a different air stone then the one it came with just because my shrimp playground has little available floor space so I got one that suctions to the tank wall but the one it came with would work perfectly fine! This kit could use a backflow valve & flow adjuster but my other one came with that so worked for me but something to consider.I’m in Florida so should we have a bad storm I feel at ease knowing my shrimps will have air to get through it. Honestly I’m so impressed with it I’ve ordered two more units for my 5 gal betta tanks :)

Works perfect for 10 gallon tank
I would rate this a 5, but a few, very minor things.Pros:Battery life so far is excellent and is easy to charge or leave plugged inPlenty of surface agitation for a 10 gallon tankPlenty of tubing is included and the air stone included is perfect for what I need it forCons:The Amazon site has the same description for 3 different sizes. The smallest one only operates1 stone but the description says 2.It is not loud but vibrates heavily, my fish freaked out if it was placed on the same table or attached to the tankThere is no included check valve with the smallest pump. So if the pump will be below the water level make sure to buy one.I know the information is there if you dig below the surface, so I can't fault the company on my lack of research, but this is to help anyone else that needs some clarification.

Essential in a power outage
I live in southern Florida and we just went through a pretty bad hurricane (Ian). When we saw that the storm was coming, I ordered these for my 2 tanks, in the event that the power. These were lifesavers (literally). We were without power for almost a week and these things really came through. I have a 55 gallon and a 20 gallon. I put 1 in each. I didn’t lose a single fish. The battery life is good (as advertised). We were able to charge them quickly in our car and they are surprisingly powerful (you do need to use the air line and stone that come with the pump to get the full effect). I highly recommend in an emergency.

Very concerning: Issue with charger/charging?
Been having trouble keeping the air pump continuously running. LESS than 6 months since I purchased and started using the air pump, and now I will likely NEED to get a better REPLACEMENT.I would have the air pump plugged in during the morning with all the charging bars full. Later in the evening or night the bars would be at 1 or 2 bars while the charging cable still plugged in. I then have to remove the cable and plug it back into the air pump charging port for the charging bar to show the “charging in progress” status. Many times my tank would be out of oxygen created by the air pump, throughout a portion of the day and other times the entire night while I’m asleep. This is VERY CONCERNING.The battery power seems to be reduced, but not significantly to me. The battery doesn’t last after being plugged in and charging while turned on at the same time. Not sure if the battery will last if I charge the pump without using it, but either way that will defeat the purpose of having an ongoing pump.Although the air pump is pretty quiet compared to many others I’ve tried with the similar power, it still makes a good amount of noise unless it’s placed about at least 3 feet away in another room at night when everything else is quiet. At first the pump was the best value for money, design, meets the needs for the amount of air flow I need.

Cheap Insurance the Help Keep Your Fish Alive in a Power Outage.
I currently have two AQQA Aquarium Rechargeable Air Pumps set up on two different tanks and am about to purchase a third for a new tank. While these aren’t my primary air sources, they serve as highly reliable redundant air supplies. I use them as a safety net during power outages in case the UPS systems on my tanks run out of power. Additionally, the rechargeable batteries can be easily topped up using a generator during extended outages, which is crucial for us since we live in a hurricane zone and have experienced week-long or longer power interruptions. The rechargeable feature adds incredible convenience and peace of mind. For the price, these pumps are cheap insurance to help keep your fish alive during power outages.
