Hot Water Recirculating Pump
Put in a new water heater so I thought I'd add this on top of the tank. Hot water has a long run to get to the kitchen.A bypass valve under the kitchen sink pushes the water from the hot back into the cold pipe until it gets hot. Saves running a ton of water down the sink.Works as advertised.

Defective out the box
Right out of the box pump wasn’t working, good thing I bought this for a future project and can’t get my money back now

Very quiet
It runs very quiet. The installation instructions are pretty vague. I 'deflated' the pump the way the instructions showed but still not sure what it is I did, or why. Even the acceptable installation orientation images were hard to interpret but I think I have one that is one of the 'acceptable' ones.

Mine was not easy to install but doable.
My old (eleven months old Wilo) was no longer in production so buying a new one wouldn't be plug and play. Many alternatives (including my next door neighbors recommendation) were $400+ so I went with this one which was really reasonably priced thru Amazon and it arrived soon after purchase. The instructions were poor but what's new in that regard. Because of where and how my old one was installed I had to do some serious plumbing changes, including soldering, that may not be a problem for you. Make sure you bleed the lines of all air before you plug it in.It's been running 10 days or so now. It's very quiet and does its job well by producing hot water through out the house in a couple of seconds. I think this thing is a winner and saved me more than three hundred bucks. Except for the instructions it's great.

Check this pump as soon as you get it!
We bought this, but didn’t install it right away. When we installed it, It never .worked. Then we tried to return it, and Amazon said our 30 days for return were up (we missed by 2 days). I sent a message to Amazon with no response. We paid $45 for a broken pump

Worked well for first two months then one speed failed
Worked well for about 2 months and then wthe speeds failed I did buy a warranty on it and they would not cover it as it was under the factory warranty and trying to communicate with them came back with no reply.

Deceptive discription on recirculating pump
I spent $150 having this installed by a plumber and only to discover that it doesn't provide instant hot water at all (even though their description says that's what it's for) . The seller Melson admitted to the fact and said that the Manufacturer ( location in the UK) told them that it isn't designed for hot water applications. Amazon came through with a full refund with the exception of my installation costs. Buyer beware Melson is not a reliable seller.
