This was purchased for my 16-year-old cat with long-standing IBD and frequent vomiting. I chose this brand based on the inclusion of Saccharomyces Boulardii, which I've read can be effective for GI issues.Despite having decent control over her symptoms, she had a particularly nasty flare up after a recent move. I ordered the Nexabiotic almost as a last-ditch effort, afraid that it might be time to let go. It arrived quickly and I started giving her one daily, opened and mixed into a tiny bit of canned food. Within three days she started to perk up. By the end of the week she was almost back to her normal self.IBD is tough to manage and I believe it's still too early to tell how well this will work in the long run. However, after almost a month of daily use, her condition and quality of life have improved considerably. While her symptoms aren't 100% resolved, her trips to the litter box are a lot less frequent. She also has fewer vomiting episodes, sleeps more comfortably, has a better appetite, and her spunky personality shines through again. I feel this product is a great supplement to an IBD appropriate diet and good veterinary care. As long as I continue seeing results, she will continue to take it.

Only been three days. After the first dose my kittens horrible breath was gone(some cats bad breath is related to gut health) he ate the powder poured from the capsule with no issue mixed in his wet food. Diarrhea is his main issue. His stools are still loose/very soft as of right now but the odor has greatly improved. Even if this doesn’t stop his loose stools I still find it worth trying. Capsule is a little large for him to give a pill pocket a shot but still seems effective when opened.

My cat has IBS and was loosing weight. He had awful poop, it was terrible. The smell was horrible, and he was going all the time. His stool was very liquid and runny. After using this product , he has improved so much. He does not have runny stool and he is doing much much better.

Out of all the probiotics on the market, this is one of the few that has limited ingredients and no fillers. It has a high CFU and lots of different strains of probiotics including S. Boulardii which is the probiotic that FortiFlora uses.I love that it’s portioned in capsules so there’s no need to measure it out. This also helps keep the product fresh. Probiotics helps with their immune health along with their digestive health so it’s a great supplement for cats nevertheless. I just wish it came in bigger sizes as this product only has 30 capsules and it barely fills the bottle.

Helps my kitty tremendously.Firms his stool up when he is having bouts of loose stool. I only use a third of a capsule 2 times a day. A little goes a long way especially when you start. Just mix with wet food and he eats it up.

I’ve been using this Nexabiotic Probiotic for my cat, and while it mixes well into his food and he eats it without issue, I haven’t noticed any significant difference or improvement yet. It’s easy to use, but it’s hard to tell how effective it really is.

The media could not be loaded. When Ruckus was a kitten he had some problems with diarrhea. Along with the prescription medicine for his gut he was also given the Forti-Flora probiotic. Forti-flora is beef flavored so you would think a cat would like it. I sprinkled it on his wet food and he ate it with no problems for about four days. He then suddenly refused to eat his food. I thought maybe he had grown tired of the wet food flavor. So I tried giving him a different flavor and he refused to touch it. I tried giving it to him without the Forti-Flora and he ate it with no problem. I tried every possible way to give him the Forti-Flora but he wouldn’t go near it. I ended up resorting to giving it to him via syringe. Since he’d be taking the Forti-Flora every day I decided to look for a different brand of probiotic. I tried so many different types of probiotics and he absolutely refused to take them. Thankfully I found Nexabiotic! I opened the bottle and he actually ate the capsule with no problem! It smells like a a vitamin and doesn’t have a flavor listed so I don’t think it’s flavored. I don’t know what it is about this probiotic but he absolutely goes crazy for it. He acts like it’s a treat he loves. Allowing him to eat the capsule can get a bit messy at times since he sometimes will puncture it with his teeth. I now open the capsule, pour it onto a spoon, mix it with a bit of water and then give it to him. He licks the spoon clean every time!The combination of the prescribed medication for his gut and the probiotic did wonders to stop the diarrhea. I also switched him to a raw diet which seems to have helped tremendously. Prior to the changes and medication he was having terrible diarrhea daily. He’s been taking this probiotic daily and on the raw diet for about a year and half now. No more diarrhea, extreme foul smelling poop, and gassy stomach.If you have a picky eater give this probiotic a try!

This is a great probiotic for cats. I tried a few different ones, and I think this one works the best. This is the only one I found that has s.boulardii strain in it, which is one of the most beneficial ones for cats. As an added bonus, my cat absolutely loves the taste of it and eats it as a treat. We’ll stick with this one.
