Still from this day, we have not been able to program it even with the instructions. It just has not worked. I’m very upset with this product cause I was hoping to be able to program my children’s TV but unfortunately that control does not work.

I bought this remote for my mother who has an old RCA tv, and it works just great once programmed. And it's very easy to program. Mom is happy.

The remote for my 2018 model element tv went out. I first tried to replace it with an element brand remote, but my TV was too old for the one I tried. After several attempts to locate a functional universal remote I reached this one. My search is done. The remote is insanely easy to program. Press power and mute together, the led lights up, you press mute and point it at your tv. It automatically cycles through the settings until it adjusts the volume on your TV. You then press mute to stop the cycle followed by power to lock it in. Took less than 30 seconds. I have used a myriad of universal remotes in my day. Never have had one so easy to program. The remote is extremely light. Feels like what was the standard back in the late 90's/early 2000's. It does not have the smart TV buttons I.E. Netflix/Vudu/Hulu....etc. The play/pause/FF/RW buttons all function within the streaming apps, though. I'm thinking about buying a spare in case any of my others go out. The price is great too.

The remote control is easy to program and works perfectly well. When it stays programmed. It seems as though every three or four days I have to reprogram it. But it's easy to reprogram
