Easy, beautiful craft activity for kids, birthdays
We used this as a birthday party activity for our 7yo and it was great! Kids could also take back the moulds home safely as a return gift from the birthday. The clay mixing needed help from adults but even if the ratio got messed it was an easy fix.

Mosaic arts and crafts
Purchased for grandchildren interested in crafts. They love the different projects to do and my daughter in law displays their art.

Fun but messy
My son and I really enjoyed making these tile mosaics! We ended up with pieces of art that we love. The set comes with supplies for three mosaics. There were plenty of tiles and plenty of the mixture to make the plaster. The tiles were a nice mix of shapes and colors. I’m giving it four stars because it was a lot of waiting and it was messy. I liked that my son could help me mix the plaster, but didn’t like that we had to put garbage bags down on the floor to contain the inevitable drips as we prepared the mixture (don’t mix plaster in your sink!) and drips as we worked on our art. You pour the plaster mix into these small, round paper dishes. They’re pretty shallow. The idea is that when they are fully set, you peel off the paper. But the paper didn’t come off easy - pieces of paper stuck to the plaster in some areas and I really had to work at it to get most of it off. My son didn’t seem to care that it wasn’t perfect. It takes hours - ideally overnight - for the plaster to dry. It was not easy to wait for our art to be ready. I think the plaster mix was a little runny despite our following the directions. Overall it was a fun experience but not the quality I would hope for from Nat Geo.

Must buy!
My kids loved this! We will order more sets! I did them with my 4, 5 and 8 year olds. Good quality stones, easy to read instructions, fun for all ages, beautiful outcome!

Decent
It is a good break from technology it comes with enough supplies to make three only concern is that it only comes with one mixing stick so have to wipe off and reuse.

Very small finished product
Pay attention to the size of finished product. Super small…baby feet size. We had fun with grandkids and enjoyed “designing” our mosaics on the template we made beforehand. There were a lot of tiles, but the finished product is very small.
