Very helpful supplement
Very happy with this product. I bought it to avoid periods of constipation and then painful hemorrhoids, I've been using it now for 2 months and am now taking 2 generous teaspoons per day in my coffee which feels like the optimal amount for me having worked steadily up a little at a time. It dissolves very well in hot drinks. There is little to no taste except for a very gentle sweet flavour which is pleasant. The only side-effect I had was severe flatulence (no bloating though) every evening for about 6 weeks, then that just stopped and it seems to be plain-sailing. And bowels are now regular and easy and well-formed. Really glad I found this and it seems very good value for money too as 1 pack will last me about 5 months I estimate. Highly recommended.

Cost effective fibre supplement
This is not a sugar substitute and the only property in common is that its taste is predominantly sweet. However, it's also slightly bitter and has none of the culinary properties of sugar. Leaving behind the sugar fantasy, inulin is an almost palatable source of fibre that's incredibly cheap compared to fibre supplements. If you need a fibre boost, mixing this into natural yogurt or a smoothie is a decent option. While I can't say in truth that inulin tastes good, it's definitely less traumatic than gulping down an equal dose of psyllium husks.

It works?
I suffer from constipation due to the medication I'm on, added to the fact I struggle to get enough daily fibre, so thought I'd give this a try.Let's start with taste. I mix 2 teaspoons in with a tumbler of warm milk. It has quite a pleasant sweet taste. Imagine a bowl of cereal after you've eaten all the cereal and drink the milk out the bottom (or is that just me) lol.It dissolves easily, and there is no gritty taste or lumps left in the bottom of the glass. It seems good value for money, should last a fair while with 2 teaspoons a day.Now for the important bit. Yes it seems to have solved my constipation, but only time will tell. So if it does stop working, I'll come back and adjust my score and review. But as of today it scores a solid 10/10 for flavour, disolvability and effectiveness

A good clean product - well priced
My third purchase of this product.I use it every morning - a tablespoon in my morning coffee. Start with a tea spoon full though and slowly increase the amount consumed over a couple of weeks. It’s full of fibre, very low salt per portion and has no nasties added. People with certain bowel conditions should consult their Dr First it advises.

Great low carb way to get your fibre and for sweetening (keto friendly)
Tastes half as sweet as sugar, so I combine it with a bit of granulated stevia to get the right level of sweetness and add it to coffee, cereal, etc.Have noticed it has really helped be with my digestive system as inulin is a prebiotic, no more bloating or constipation.I would use psyllium husk prior to discovering this, with that the psyllium when it made contact with the water it was mixed into it would clump and cling to the spoon and vessel being used, which would be tricky to clean after consuming. But this is so much more convenient and easy, if you're in a hurry you can simply mix it into a glass of water and it dissolves without clumps leaving no residue behind. Also good if you're on a low carbohydrate or keto diet given its nutritional profile.

Product fine but packaging slashed
It seems that massive tears in the packaging of this product lately is quite common based on other reviews. Contents poured out the hole in the bottom when taking it out, which meant I needed to quickly decant. I used this product a few years ago and the quantity still seems similarly good value but apprehensive to use this lot as not sure how long the contents have been exposed in the warehouse! Perhaps avoid until packaging issues stop...
