Very good for soup prep

Love this. It's saving so much time when I make soups. I like to grate vegetables for a certain soup I make and manually grating was taking forever. No more aching hands/wrists and such a time saver now I have this super little machine. I've grated carrots and turnips (amongst other things) using this and it's a doddle. Easy enough to clean affer using as the grating blades detach for washing. Only criticism is that things can get a little messy...some veg misses the bowl used to catch the gratings in but, hey, I'm not grumbling - it's easy enough to clear up. Wish I'd got one of these years ago!

The media could not be loaded. Worked fine at first then after few more it died .. going intermittent and slow .. went cheap to see what they were like ..

One side of the drum is fine but on the other side the slot is too narrow for the blades to fit. I’ve tried each of the blades but no joy. The only thing I could recommend would be to leave in the blades which come already fitted but that would mean washing them would be impossible.

This is a very easy to use and saves a lot of time when making soups and salads so glad I bought it. I even got 1 as a present for my sister

This was a lot bulkier than I had anticipated and is more of a keep it on the counter rather than store it in a cupboard piece of equipment. When not using the equipment, he remaining blades store neatly in the feeder tube. This is a corded machine, so needs to be positioned close to an electrical socket.There are three types of blades - one for slicing and two different sizes for grating (course and fine). The blades are easy to slot into and remove from the rotator drum. The blades are, of necessity, extremely sharp, so keep fingers well away when loading or removing them!The cutting drum and blades are easy to remove, as is the main hopper. The drum is easy to put in and remove from the main unit, just press it in to click/unclick in place. The hopper must be locked in place by the knob on the front before starting to chop anything.It's unfortunate that none of this is recommended as dishwasher safe, which makes it a bit of a faff to clean in respect of being a labour-saving device.

Straightforward effective chopper that makes life that little bit easier and prepping a breeze.What's not to like? I can't find fault so I'm more than happy to recommend it.All the best
