Warning these are EXTRA SHARP, which is how they should be. I touched the edge and cut my thumb. So don't be like me. Lol, these are EXTRA strong and durable. The grip is the perfect fit. I am surprised at how good these are for the price I paid. The bluing of the blades are also awesome. That said, it is how well it works that is important.So let me share. I broke my shoulder and could only use one hand for a while. I could not find my cat fur scissors and since I had been using these scissors for a project, I grabbed them. Now these are not small and they are extra sharp. Do not do this if you have an untrusting cat, you will hurt him/her. My cat had a matt on his chest, down between his legs and it was pulling on his skin.Now, my cat was traumatized from being thrown out of someone's house at 12yo, into a blizzard. He was rescued and I got to be the one who became his kahu. So, we have a great trust between us. With only one hand, as he held still for me, I was able to cut the mat off so he could stretch again. He held very still and I am still amazed at his trust because of my goodness was I nervous. The scissors were so sharp, it made the job easy.Now I could tell you how it cuts through metal, through cardboard, whatever, cloth, but it was the sharpness that was perfect in cutting the mat off a cat's chest, SINGLE HANDED, without holding my cat. I could not have done it with anything less sharp. So very grateful for these scissors.

Amazing scissors! I know you're not supposed to use these as a tool, but that's what I bought for and they do not disappoint. They make those plastic packages that you can't open- easy work! I striped a couple of wires with them because my plyers were in the garage. They clean up easily and red is my favorite color. The sweetest thing is that they are affordable. These are a must have.

Supperrrrr sharp scissors. Bought these bad boys with the intention of cropping a shirt for my charli xcx concert. Scissors worked amazingly. Scissors have a bit of weight to them and seem like it will be very durable. Definitely larger than any ordinary scissors but I think that adds to the ease of using it. The handle of the scissors has grip, fingers will not slip while using this. On the blades of the scissors there is a pretty cool iridescent color. While closed you definitely won’t knock or scratch yourself with the tip of the blade. However, probably wouldn’t want to put your fingers to the blade while using as it is quite sharp.

If you are a left handed person you understand what I mean when I say “these cut through anything” and you love not having to struggle or twist your hand a certain way. Buy em!!!

These are my 20,000 pair of fabric scissors and I swear to all things holy, if my kids get hold of these and use them to stab boxes, I shall not be happy. All I want is a pair of scissors that will cut fabric and not be dulled by paper or covered in weird sticky residue from a Playdoh incident, or a cooking "lost the kitchen scissors these will do" never to be seen again. So, let's hope that these remain in my sewing kit, else I might be reviewing coffins next!

I was almost afraid to purchase these because of the (exaggerated) claims of their sharpness. They cut fabric fine; not extremely sharp like hair cutting shears. Not pro-quality. They are sturdy, nicely balanced. The handle openings seem a little small for my hand, very grippy, but I'll get used to them. There is a nut and bolt holding them together, which will enable sharpening the entire blade. Hopefully they'll last. I'm not a seamstress or quilter, but do the occasional project. They're fine for my purposes.

Amazing! I bought them 3 years ago. They are still as sharp as the first day and they cut through anything. My wife now wants a pair, so I'm ordering one for her.
