Lots and lots of Dell laptops around my workplace and I spend part of today testing this (and another) charger to see if it works. It worked with EVERY single one I could find, some going back years in age. This charger is fantastic. The output simply adjusts to the wattage demands of the Dell laptop, and the Dell plug size is so universal, there's almost nothing that this charger won't fit.I can't say this categorically, and you'll want to check for your model before using this one, but it definitely works and works very well for all the Dell laptop lines I can manage to find that have been made since maybe 2016 or so. Seriously, that far back. Wattage input does NOT need to match because this charger won't deliver more than the laptop demands - it's a Dell standard.This means that the list of compatible models with this charger would be so long they can't all fit on the listing. EVERYthing works except probably the Dell mini series, which use very different plugs, and any ultra modern Dell that could take only USB-C charging, but those are rare animals if they yet exist.It runs at 240 watts, but steps right down to 180 watts, 130 watts, 90 watts, whatever the laptop demands. No problem. No overcharging, no overcurrents, no overheating - just happy laptops that get the power delivery they need. It's brilliant.Construction is as good as the photos and probably better. It's sleek and slim (and weighty, which is fine, it's powerful) and looks like it's a lot more expensive than it actually is. Great for travelling at this size, and perfect if I just want to have 1 travel charger for multiple Dell laptops and just grab this charger and know it will work flawlessly with whichever laptop I take with me. Nice!As you can probably tell, I love this good-looking little charger and I definitely RECOMMEND it to anyone looking for this type of multi-laptop solution, or for traveling with one laptop, or just to stay put with a single laptop. Anything - because it works with everything. Great charger!

I don't know how heavy the original dell slim charger but this feels like the same weight as the original dell brick charger. It is slightly smaller and I think it does weigh less but super hard to tell and could be my imagination.However, a 240W power supply is going to be big and I knew that going into it. For travel it is just slim enough to properly fit into backpack slots unlike the original power supply. Not to mention that if you travel a lot, it is great to have a 2nd slimmer battery to play with to not ruin existing workstation setups.Now as far as the product itself goes, the cables go in nice and tight, nothing loose and everything seems to be of good quality material. I don't like that it says Crossery on the wire wraps and charger itself but I can't fault a company for branding themselves proudly when they create good products. It doesn't make any high pitch sounds at high power draws, on a very short test of 30 minutes heavy gaming it did not heat up too much even though the laptop itself was baking. It was actually cooler then the original dell charger gets on the same test so bonus points on that front. But I don't know if it is internally getting really hot and the material is simply keeping me from noticing it.Nice long cables on both ends. But the total end-to-end length is shorter (maybe 8 inches) then the original OEM brick (but well that brick is also bigger overall). Unsure yet if those extra inches are going to cause me heartaches when travelling but I don't imagine it will overall.Also all testing was done on a Dell G7 15 with an RTX 2070 with overclocking turned on to 5Ghz cpu speeds. It has very high power requirements overall when I push it hard and this charger seems to be working well thus far.
