Very good upgrade
One of the best budget knives I’ve owned in the last few years. As a construction worker I tend to abuse my knives and this one has exceeded my expectations. From the fit and finish to the quality and craftsmanship this piece is amazing

Great versatile knife
I love this knife. I bought this for camping as my main kitchen knife. It folds up and is nice and light and perfect for preparing meals. No blade coatings to contaminate food. The Nitro V steel came razor sharp. I did put on some Talon grip tape for added texture and it’s perfect. It’s a keeper along with my mini Praxis. Thank you Civivi for making excellent works of art 👊🏼

Great gift.
Son loved it. As a truck driver he always carries a blade to cut a strap, banding.

Decent quality, would
Nice if you like a “larger knife” if I could get a do-over, I’d probably get the 30$ praxis mini

Slicing machine.
Fantastic kitchen knife because the edge is protected and it's big for a pocket knife.

Beautiful, highly quality functional tool at a great price
This is a beautiful knife. The design is very pleasing to the eye while still being a very functional tool. I have bought four of these so far. They make a great gift. I do recommend replacing the clip with the civivi titanium clip.

Actually quite nice
I have collected pocket knives for a long time and probably have at least 50 at this point, from at least a dozen makers including fancy Spyderco, Benchmade, Zero Tolerance, and custom hand made knives.I especially like flipper knives so I have many, mainly Zero Tolerance (generally the best production made) and a Spyderco Smock (nice but very overpriced for what it is). This is my first CIVIVI and right out of the box it has been very impressive. The action is very smooth, and since the blade is on the larger side, the mass of the blade material does most of the work in moving the blade. In contrast the Spydero Smock blade is light in comparison and takes more force to move, and the Zero Tolerance 0450 even more. The 0450 also becomes extremely difficult to open after a few months of carrying and ZT won't fix it claiming users just "forgot" how to deploy a flipper :eye_roll:But back to the CIVIVI Button Lock Praxis... wow. Smooth deployment like a Zero Tolerance, large blade with a big belly perfect for slicing, and I happen to like metal scales and the aluminum is pretty nice.I bought this for less than seventy money units and it is worth twice that, if you don't require a "fancy" name brand stamped on the blade. If you are looking for a fidgety EDC knife to play with during the day, to slice open boxes and apples or cut rope, and you don't want to worry about damaging an expensive knife, get this one.
