I cut it out to fit my trays which I found quite difficult.

I was advised by another reviewer not to buy what looked like a cheaper alternative, that in practice would retain water but not convey it by capillary action from a reservoir to the bases of pots on greenhouse staging.Not having used capillary matting except on a very small scale, I took notice and bought 5m.With a little practice (finding that I had to choose pots with plenty of 'drainage' holes on a relatively flat base, and no ridges around the edge) and ensuring that the compost was damp when pricking-out or potting-on. the Matting worked well and

Product was not in Gardman packaging and seems relatively thin so not sure it is really produced by them. Would not reorder.
