I wasn't sure if the bolts are plastic or not, but it's solid metal. However, the handle bars are soft material which easy to hold for my children. They're hanging now like monkeys.

These climbing handles are perfect size for young children, They are really solid with a Rubber type grip handle which makes it easy to hold into, and Less likely to slip.The handles come with a set of straps, They are quite short so I would have to either use a different set of straps or attach a rope To them to reach the branch of the tree.It's a good, solid, low branch Which I thought would make an ideal place for the kids to practice hanging and climbing.My kids always climbed trees but as a grandma now I Think I will be too scared to let them - This is the next best thing, And as they will only be a few feet off the ground they will be fine.These are nice solid handles, I have no worries about How safe they are. The bit that the strap goes through is nice and secure.It's so nice to see kids climbing and exploring, It doesn't so much good and it's great for their physical well-being.These are good quality and come in at really good price.
