Cheap way to protect your 1050 from breakage.
Fits great. Dropped my 1050 a few weeks ago and it cracked the screen. Replaced the screen and believe this will prevent future accidents.

I was immediately impressed with this silicone case when I saw that it was designed specifically for this model of Garmin, since the overall size is the same as a couple of previous models, but the ports are slightly different.The quality of the silicone is equal to the OEM Garmin cases, so it is a win-win to me.
