Better than the Rust-o-leum skid additive
I used this to provide an anti-skid coating to my garage when I epoxied it. I put some of it in a salt shaker and sprinkled over the freshly painted floor. This makes a HUGE difference. Way better than the super fine powdered glass that Rust-O-Leum sells.

Good stuff
I used on my boat deck and really like the grip. I used the whole tub in 1 gallon of roof coating from HD it went on great . Next time I use it I will prolly use about 1/2 to 3/4 per gallon . It's just classified sand play sand so next time I will buy a bag of play sand and use a classifier and make my own .

worked OK nothing great
I didn't care for the finish when mixed with the paint. I think it works better if you paint then sprinkle this on before paint dries. I did both and the sprinkling had a better look and feel to me. I think it's a good product.

Ok, but little impact.
Used it to sprinkle on polyethylene to keep from sliding.

KIX 1/2 CUP TO 1 QT. PAINT OR STAIN
We built a 39ft handicap ramp It always wet and slippery in the winter . We tried skid tape which kept coming up. We bought this, great price. Added it to our barn red paint, maybe a bit more than it says on the label, but that did not matter! IT WORKS PERFECTLY!! Nice gritty surface for traction! Would defiantly recommend this product, AND will buy it again if we need to paint anything with a no slip surface.
