Energizer TX20HL AGM Motorcycle and Atv 12V Battery, 310 Cold Cranking Amps and 18 Ahr. Replaces: YTX20L-BS and others

Mfr Date was 11/24 which is good, didn't realize it but this a total sealed battery, even gooder! Excellent replacement for my poor old Panhead, saving me $$$ times are tuff right now

This battery had a one year life even though kept on a battery tender when not in use. I just replaced the battery in my other motorcycle also kept on a tender and it lasted over 5 years. Super disappointed with Energizer.

The Energizer Bunny done died on this one. Battery had been installed in a Victory XC cycle for less than 90 days, and then pretty much failed. Battery tester showed full charge, but CCA output @ 53,- nothing close to 310 rating. Tested using both AGM plates setting, and the coil setting. Bear in mind, I consistently used a current model Battery Tender on this, using the AGM charge setting when not riding. I called help number listed in Order Details after seeing that the provided internet link goes nowhere. I was told I'd connected to a 3rd party tech support outfit, and I needed to talk with Energizer folks. Did that, and found out they don't make that battery, but it carries the Energizer label. Mfg is "Clarios", and they can be reached only by email (batterytechsupport@clarios.com). Long story short, I ultimately rectified directly with Amazon, and their CS rep was very good.

I bought this to replace the battery in my Harley Fat Boy. It was a PAIN to install, and I needed my wife to help hold some pieces into place. If you're replacing a motorcycle battery, I recommend having a second person just to help position everything appropriately and for moral support.Once I got the battery in the bike started up like a dream, so no complaints on the battery itself. It did it's job.

After one year this battery has failed me numerous times after sitting for just a few days or up to a week not plugged into trickle charger in a garage with temperatures ranging between 45 and 70°.It had failed me in January and February after sitting for only 24 to 48 hours not plugged in with a garage temperature in the 40s. At the time I chalked it up to the colder outdoor temperatures and I was able to jump start the bike from a jump start battery and proceed to take a week-long trip to Florida and back from Missouri with no issues.Since then I've ridden some other long rides without issue, but if I leave the bike in the garage for just a few days or up to a week not plugged into a charger, it will drain and require jump starting again. The only electric item running directly from the battery is a 12-volt USB charger with no LED light on it and nothing plugged into it. Every other accessory uses switched power so would not be drawing anything. I never had this issue with the prior battery for 5 years that it replaced just last February 2024.I'm very disappointed in the battery after just one year with it mostly being kept on a trickle charger for any longer periods of time in my garage. Except when on the road for long trips, the bike is always stored in a garage to avoid extreme temperatures.
